I have always had oily skin, mostly on my forehead & nose. But lately, I've noticed extremely dry skin around my entire mouth.

Ive used proactive, nuetragena, biore, philosophy, & I'm currently using Mario Badescu face wash & moisturizer. Even with the moisturizer it's not moisturized.

Sometimes my face burns to certain cleansers, so I don't know if that would make me sensitive. But if anyone of you has any recommendations, I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Andrea, Normally I believe that after using so many good products your skin should have passed over this problem. In this case, the only thing I would do if I were you would be visiting a dermatologist. Good luck!

I also suffer from dehydrated/dry skin in the winter. I normally get really dry on my cheeks and around my mouth/chin. At the beginning of this winter, I purchased Olie Biologique #004. It has SAVED my skin. I didn't have any dry skin issues this winter, and I've never been able to say that. I know it is a little pricey, but I feel like you get a lot, especially enough to last through the winter months, when I know I will need it most! I think I will continue to use it in the summer as my moisturizer at night. Love this stuff!

Oh and if you are a member of Birchbox, then its cheaper in their store. Plus you can use your points towards the purchase (this is what I do)!

Hey Andrea!

i think you should go for day spa baths or other Herbal Beauty Treatments like massage with accupunture for aperfect blood circulation. you will defintely notice difference in your skin. it will become smooth like flower and shine like diamond.

For a glowing skin, return to nature's lap for its indispensable gift: water. Drink eight to 10 glasses of water to urge a wonderfully bright and hydrous skin. It detoxifies your body.
Establish a cleansing-toning-moisturizing regime. Cleansing cleans the dirt particles from the skin pores and lets the skin breathe. Toning helps restore the pH balance of the skin, and moisturizing keeps the skin tender and supple.
You can take home facials once every week. Exfoliate your skin with natural scrubs to get rid of the dead skin. you'll take one teaspoon of oats, add a trifle water and rub it gently together with your fingertips in an exceedingly circular motion on your skin. Let it dry and wash it off with cold water; this prevents hindering of your skin pores.
Apply a moisturizer with SPF fifteen before going get into the sun. ensure you apply moisturizer 15-20 minutes before stepping outside.

Have you tried any of these :

- Proactiv Green Tea Moisturizer

- Skin MD Natural

- Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre

You can get them on amazon... I love the proactiv green tea and skin MD for night time and the embryolisse for before I put my makeup on. It leaves my skin so nice and moisturized.

Hi Andrea, usually you have a problem of oily T-zone which is quite common. But what's disturbing is the dryness around the mouth. How about using some yoghurt or milk cream around it?  Keep it for a few minutes and wipe it off/wash it. Try for a few days. Also, you can try coconut milk or a product containing coconut milk as it penetrates deep into the skin, removing all dryness and making it nourished. Don't use harsh soaps on the face. Cetaphile is ok and mild.

When you have flaky, itchy, dry skin, you want fast relief. Easing your dry skin isn't just about what you put on it. It also depends on how you clean your skin, the air around you, and even your clothes

Try following tips to your dry skin.

1.Warm Yes, Hot No: A steamy shower feels good, but that hot water is not a good idea for your dry skin

2. Cleanse Gently: Wash with a soapless cleanser when you shower.

3. Shave Smartly: Shaving can irritate dry skin. As you shave unwanted hair, you're also scraping off natural oils.

4. Cover Up: Sun damage is one of the main causes behind dry skin, wrinkles, and roughness. You can help prevent that damage by wearing a broad-spectrum sunscreen year-round and dressing right.

Some natural tips for dry skin are:

  • You can find plenty of options for natural dry skin care in your kitchen, or in the produce and diary aisles of your supermarket.
  • Yogurt, especially the plain Greek variety, makes an excellent cleanser with a mild exfoliating action that will remove dry skin and leave you feeling refreshed and comfortable. Make a homemade skin scrub.
  • Harvest the healing power of honey.

No, hasan, following a regimen for oily skin will not help someone with dry skin. It will make the dryness worse. If you have dry skin around your mouth, the edges of your nose, and your cheeks, but an oily t-zone, that's combination skin, and there are different ways to treat it. Trying to treat your whole face like it's oily is not the solution.

all time follow that its which policy apply for our oily skin that is important other wise our beauty lost

Rosken High Potency Vitamin E cream. Apply on your dry skin area and not on your oily skin area, may worsen it.
