Drugstore brand to Salon brand hair care?

I am a major salon-brand snob with one notable exception-

I love the Dove Advanced shampoo and conditioner (for darkened hair)! Everything else is salon- HSH, Kusco-Murphy, Bumble & Bumble, and sometimes custom-scented She She 'Poo and 'Dish from Make Me Smooth......

I've tried both and have had good and bad experiences with both. I've compared ingredient lists too and most brands have the same exact ingredients just listed in different order. I think shampoo is shampoo it just depends on what works for you. The main ingredient in shampoos store/salon brand is Sulfates which are drying, color fading/strips color, and cleansing. Sulfates are like detergents which is what helps to clean your hair. Take a look at the ingredient lists next time your at Target they now sell Salon brand products and compare to store brand-you'll see they're very similar.
