My hair has been so dry lately it's ridiculous!

Does anyone know any good, penetrating moisturizer?

Shea Butter and Jojoba is good but where can I find some online that is quality on a trusted website?

Child, hit up your local African market or Vitamin Shoppe or health food store for unrefined organic stuff. As for sites, I don't know what to tell you. My mom orders from one, but I forget what it's called... If you absolutely need one, lemme know and I'll ask.

Coconut oil, definitely. And use a deep conditioner (recommended: Mizani Fufyl) when you shampoo.

i use coconut oil, i but it from the food store.

i buy a brand called NUTIVA and i am sure they have a web site. it is organic and smells super yummy. it is ment for cooking but whatever i got it in the hair isle (and if you really want to it makes a deliceous popcorn)

Keep the suggestions coming.

Unfortunately, I'm poor so I have to be make a list and select from there.

how do you girls use the coconut oil? my hair is dry too but i'm a bit confused on how use a kitchen-related product on my hair.

help please?

This is my method:

Apply the oil to dry hair and comb through so hair is quite saturated.

Wash my hair about an hour later - soap up twice to get all the oil out.

Condition and then style as usual.

You could also try mixing a few tablespoons olive oil with coconut oil as well for great results.

i used aubrey organic dessert herb, jojoba after shampoo,if you do a google search and type brand name

shampoo and at discount prices ,you will get website that sell for less,i have thin, highlited hair, that are a little curlyand get easy dangles.

take care.

I buy mine at a health food store, I use coconut oil and jojoba oil as well. I put it in my hair from about the ears down (so my length) and then put it in a braid or bun and wear it for the night.

I also love using jojoba oil on my scalp, it seems to dissolve any dried sebum and feels very clarifying without that stripped feeling.. hmm I think I'll do that tonight
