I have to get a lot of mine fixed too if not all replaced.  Damn eating disorder ruined my life for 10 years and I'm still paying for it.

I have some missing molars, but on each side, you can't tell. My front teeth are fake too... so I know all about being insecure because of your teeth! I was so glad I could finally get the front ones fixed! Cost me an arm and a leg but no more dead tooth in the front LOL Good luck to you :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Bonnie - Sorry to hear about the disorder, but you don't have it anymore right??

I took years to go to the dentist, I was TERRIFIED. I finally found a great one that will drug me up so I have NO IDEA wtf is going on!! She's great, I actually just went to her 5 year in business brunch :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I spent $7k (on credit) to get all my stuff fixed, I needed a ton of work!! Good luck with yours. I still need to get 2 molar implants

O MAN that's exactly what I need, a dentist that will drug me.  I'm terrified to go.

^^ She used to knock me out with IV sedation but then she started her own practice so they don't do that. But she gives me "halcion" for the night before, so I can sleep. I wake up, take another... and when I get there I take another. Then she gives me TONS of gas. I had my iPod in my ears and was listening to a No Doubt live concert... I thought I was really there, I was that out of it LOL Halcion is like valium but makes you forget!

I'll definitely have to do a search for someone liek that in my area.  Thats the only was I see myself going.

You could come to Ohio :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> LOL

I've had dentists kick me out for passing out in the chair (because of fear). I've had the scream at me. I can't believe some are so mean!! This lady is super sweet, she puts up with my acting 5 years old and never makes me feel bad for it. She's the bestest :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Good luck finding one in your area. Google and ask around!

Wow!  I thought I was the only one with teeth problems!

I had three baby teeth with no adult teeth under them.  So when they fell out about a year ago (I'm officially a grown up! lol!), there's nothing to close the space.  I do have a little bit of space where they're gone, but all three spaces have closed up a considerable amount.  I've never heard of that happening to anyone else other than me and my sister (her's haven't fallen out yet).  My dentist told me that it's very common to have that happen and he has several patients like that, but I didn't believe him.  lol

I'm SUPER self-conscious about it.  I had horrible teeth as a youngin' and had $6,000+ worth of work done, including having the orthodontist break my maxilla (roof of my mouth) because it was too small and pushing forward my mandible (jaw bone) because it was too far back.  It was very traumatic and painful!  So I'm very bitter that I went through all that and I still have mouth/teeth issues.

I'm comforted to know I'm not alone though!  :)

Yeah, he broke it on purpose.  I had a bar cemented to the top of my mouth that would stretch everyday for 16 days.  It was horrible.  And I cried every time.  lol  After the 16 days, I had a huge gap in my two front teeth.  I can't remember how long I wore the bar after my maxilla was stretched, but it was quite some time until the bone healed.  That's still one of the most painful experiences I ever had!

Sammie, you look beatiful. Nothing wrong with your face at all. And I wish I had your eyebrows. Mine are "sad looking" when they're natural.

OMG Barbie! I am so sorry you had to go through all that... It sounds painful... eek... I'm super self conscious about my teeth... I hate them i seriously want them all implanted so that I dont have to deal with the pain and ugliness of them LOL... but for now i'll settle for implants and bridges on the places where I dont have teeth, and get rid of the cavities... you are not alone girl! =)
