Who here cuts their own hair? I admit, I cut my own bangs and do my own trims. I have even been known to even cut layers lol. I find my stylist always gets too scissor happy and I go to her about 1ce a year for a good cut to maintain my overall shape of my hair. Plus, not going so much saves me some serious dough!

I cut my own bangs. Stylists would cut them too wide and blunt. I would end up growing them out - cut after cut.

When my hair was longer, I cut all my hair.

But now that it's shoulder length, I need the bottom layered so it doesn't look so triangular. That's where I need some help from a stylist.

But I agree with you - cutting your own hair definately saves money!

I too have cut my own bangs as well as give myself a bit of a layer around my face but that's about it.

Well, I did try to give myself a hair cut when I was 16. It didn't turn out very well. My mom had to do an emergency-fix for me...

But I have cut my mom's hair a couple of times and she was quite happy with the result both times. It's kinda fun!

I've been cutting my own hair since I was 13 years old, after I got my first cut from a hairstylist. I didn't like it. Ever since, I've been doing it myself.

I trim mine, but normally let a stylist do the major stuff. I color my hair though. That part is easy. Lol.

I leave the coloring and cuts to the professionals just cause I am not good at doing either on my own hair. Plus I'm anal about it being perfect. LOL

I'd be too scared to cut my own hair. I also have cut my bangs but not my hair hair. I'd mess it up lol.

Like the other girls said I maintain my bangs/upper layers myself. Anything more complicated I go to the salon.
