Cute but easy to do hairstyles?

I have wavy shoulder length hair that I never know what to do with. I can pretty much only do a basic pony or the easiest form of the messy bun (where you make a pony but don't pull the hair all the way through). I'd like to know how to do some cute styles using only bobby pins/clips.

I know some of the styles below probably used heat styling but I'm sure since I already have pretty wavy hair I can get a similar effect.

that's what I mean by pompadour..the "poof"..whatever you want to call it.. I wouldn't want it so big, I prefer when it's just small section of hair in the front, but I just wanted a pic for reference. I dont know how to do this well, but I like it with ponytails as well as when down.

and any other ideas

basically I need some ways to do my hair!

if you can describe how to do the ones above, great, but I'm up for ANY suggestions/explanations.
