Curling thong advice pls?

hello my luvly ladies! I wanted to purchase a ceramic curling iron.Its a Babyliss brand. The SA used the highest diameter .38 to curl my hair.My hair length is veryy long..sumthing like beyonce's hair in DejaVu clip..when the sa curled, my hair wuz like curled from the middle to the ends..its more lush..not tight curls but very loose which i like it..then she tried smaller diameter one abt .32 which give more curl than the first one but dat chunk shortened(lifted up can u imagine?).She recommended the big diameter as i can simply curl n fast n create soft waves..wat do ya ladies tink?

I use a big barrel curling iron (1 inch) because it does seem to make the process take less time, and it does give me soft waves. However, I will use a 1/2 inch for tighter curls, although it is more time-consuming. It all depends on my mood, and how much time I have to do my hair.

how much will the curl fall out during the day??? if your hair holds the curl really good and for a long time I'd go with the bigger iron but if the curl is going to come out quickly, I'd get the smaller one b/c then in an hour your hair will look like you want!!(does this make sense?)
