I tried this the other day and it worked!! i loved the curls that i got with my flat iron, after watching this video i learned how to do it, so i thought i would share, for the people who dont know how to do it, i am sure there might be some that already know ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> but for all those who dont here it is :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

thanks ive always wondered how to do that, just wish the video was a bit clearer, i cant see exactly what she does. does she twist the hair around it twice and then just pull down?

im gonna try and do this tomorrow, keep meaning too but never get around to it

I tried it and it didn't work for me! I need to practice, and my hair's not long enough

you get a more rock star look if you coil the hair and stick it in the straightener, it's more messy and edgy. (according to my makeup artist friend, LOL)

Holy cow, it's like magic!! LOL. I've always wondered if I could curl my hair with my straightener but never attempted it.

My hairstylist showed me how to do this. It's all about turning the iron in your hand, and getting that right angle when you first start at the roots. I like this technique much better. Instead of my hair being poker straight, I can adjust the techniques, and get amazing body, and a bit of flip at the end. (I have naturally curly hair, but I like to wear it straight from time to time, and giving it some movement and body looks much better on me! I am going to try this curling technique also. Hopefully it will give me a nice, smooth looking curl!)

If you watch the video on youtube it is very clear and there is another version. I don't think my hair is long enough but I am going to try this.

I remember the tutorial LVA did, and she had the most amazing CHI curls, they were gorgeous.

The video won't play... but anyways, I tried curling my hair with my flat iron and it had kinks in it. I'm guessing I'm doing it wrong.
