I am sick of taking care of it and seeing how it gets torn out by when I brush it. Can any of you look at my pic and tell me what short or medium length haircut would look good on my face? I want shorter hair but my face is so round i'm afraid it will look chunky.

i like to lighten it and get highlights/chunks too, when i get it cut. I am leaning toward getting an inverted bob but i was told layering would not do well with my hair because it's thin.

suggestions please? I have a pic in my profile.

many thanks,

mela

Don't brush it then? Brushing is BADDD for hair. Use a wide tooth comb and brush it only when you get out of the shower. I guess if you really have to do it when it's dry but never with a brush. I havent used a brush in years.

you have pretty straight hair. i love to see bangs on girls with long straight hair, i just love it so much. thats my personal preference you prob don't want them haha.

i have no real sugguestions, sorry

probably should try to use a comb more then

its amazing what a difference it makes when you cut out the brush and just use a wide-toothed comb!

like monniej said, you need to look around and see what you like, there are many interesting things in the Ultimate style sticky too I believe!!!

I think that long side swept bangs would look cute with some layers. I agree what the others said, I use a wide tooth comb and it has helped to keep my hair healthy.

i guess nothing keeps mine healthy because it's split up to the top, and i take good care of it.

my ahir is so very thin that combs make it neat but dont get out the heavy tangles. oh, i do use a brush but never the kind that has the little knots/ball on each tooth of it those will really tear your hair out. im thinking i might like bangs but ones to my chin, i can stand having forehead length bangs because i have this cowlick thats hard to tame and train agh.

im thinking yah an inverted bob, but a softer messy layered one- NOT a blunt cut like the 1920s style. the straight edges of that look would be too harsh with my facial structure.

im thinkin' more midlength than short short. i WISH i could have boi short hair but my face is too round to pull that off. i'd look fat

I think layers are good for thin hair. That is what my stylist tells me anyway. I have VERY thin, fine hair. I have tons of layers in my hair. If I leave my hair straight or rolled it looks like I have pounds of hair (see my avatar).

I think a shorter, layered cut with long bangs would look good on you.

I also think a shorter cut with long bangs would look beautiful - you have a great face, very symmetrical, high cheekbones, a beautiful jawline. If you go with a jagged, layered inverted bob, go a littl longer than chin length - or go shorter and stacked up in back, with a slope toward the front. I think it would look very rock-n-roll sexy - and definitely long bangs, nothing shorter than beneath your cheekbones - then you'll be able to tuck them behind your ear or clip them back, or do that front-center clip back thing that I think looks pretty sexy-cool.

Def. get a wide toothed comb, don't brush when wet, find a condish that agrees with the fineness of your hair but still gives you plenty of moisture. Try a protein pack followed by a moisturizing condish, too, to help keep your ends in good shape.
