Has anyone used this to get a bad dye job out?

I've had my hair black for awhile now and i think i might go light now but i dont want to strip my hair to get the black out so i hear theres this 3 step shampooing system called colorfix that u can wash ur hair with and it completely takes the dye out of your hair...

i figured do that 1st then dye a lighter color...

if anyone has tried it let me know

from what i hear it takes black out completely without bleach or stripping and leaves hair healthy...... sounds impossible but true

Colorfix saved me a lot of money. It didn't mess up my hair and after I did it, it didn't feel any less healthy. I had faded dark red/brown/purpleish almost hair when I did it. It takes out color but leaves you with yellowy orange blondish color which is ugly.. You gotta dye after obviously. Its not really shampoo, its more like dying your hair at home.... But 2 months later, Ive noticed after trying to dye lighter twice, my hair still wont grab the color properly. I think thats what the chemicals just do to your hair. Guess I gotta wait or get highlights or somethin. I would recommend it n go here Folica.com Product Reviews: one 'n only Colorfix they got lotsa reviews & some pictures

please dont use this product i used it about a month ago and it really messed my hair up it makes it this ugly orange red color which is very hard to get out of your hair it will not dye out with store bought hair dye i ended up having to go to a salon and it cost me $ 140 to fix so if you wanna lighten your hair go to a salon before you end up messing it up and having to pay more to fix it

fyi to let ya know, i tried to help that chick b4 wit colorfix but she messed it up n aint do it right. Not tryin to be all rude or wateva i just dont like when ppl who didnt do it right wanna preach on it. Try it n good luck

If you are going to use Colorfix, I would reccomend grabbing a protein filler to use before you color again.

Colorfix is supposed to turn your hair an orange red shade. It pulls all of the artificial color out of the hair, and it would be like you just added the volume developer. That would turn most people's hair orange/red. After you use the colorfix, you need to use a protein filler to help the hair shaft grab the color. The protein is sold at Sally's along with the Colorfix.

HTH,

Renee
