Hey guys. I used the Pantene Clarifying Shampoo today, and my hair turned out pretty good. Granted, just my bangs I could tell, cuz that's the only thing I actually blow dried. But that's not the question. How often should you use clarifying shampoo? Everyday? Only twice a month? I'm just confused. Please help! Also, does Pantene have wax in it? I've heard that's it's not good for fine hair, which is what I have, so maybe I should not use that brand? Any help on that also would be great. Thanks!

I use clarifying shampoo once every other week.

After hearing that Pantene was bad for the hair I immediately stopped using it and vow to never purchase it again. I use Suave Daily Clarifying shampoo and I love it.

I would say that it depends on how many products you use on your hair. I use it about twice a month or so.

I was told to use a clarifying shampoo once a week, but I guess it depends on how much products you use as Marisol said. If you use hair spray and all that everyday, using it once a week is a good idea. Pantene is one of the best lines in the drugstore, although I haven't used their Clarifying shampoo. The full'n'thick products are great for fine hair..also Neutrogena has a clarifying shampoo that's excellent!

i have really really naturally oily hair. so thats the only shampoo i use. cause nothing else seems to clean it well enough.

what i use is paul mitchell shampoo two.

Suave Daily Clarifying I use it everyday (unless I'm blowdrying it). I use matrix sleek.look conditioner with it and it makes my hair smoother and shinier than my regular smoothing shampoo/conditioner combo. AND my hair stays clean

I use apple cider vinegar as a rinse to remove buildup and gunk. I smells awful, but it´s so worth it. I rub a tiny amount of jojoba oil between my palms and run thrugh dry hair for non greasy (watch the ammount though) super shine.

Neutrogena has an excellent clarifying shampoo called Anti-Residue.

I have used it for years, it gets rid of all the build up on your hair with 1 shampoo- leaves hair so shiny and soft! Smells so good too!
