i saw in the target add a chi for $79.99 it is the original 1'' gold plated and black straightener. ive been really wanting one, and want to know if the original chi is the same as the chi ultras (like do they work the same and quality). this is a really good price for me and i really want one but is it just as good as the ultras in all the colors??

Thanks for the link Kim! That's the only CHI that's ever been used in my hair, and it's worked well for me :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I saw this in the Target ad, but I was too late. All the stores I called had 0 on hand.

Did purchase it through the internet. It doesn't arrive until around Jan. 9. Paid only $80.57 with shipping. I found a discount code on the internet. So I know it is a great deal.

Just need to figure out a good heat protectant to buy.

Yea that classic chi works great! They last a pretty long time if you take care of it, and don't drop it a lot hehe I did, but they lasted like almost 4 years, I just got the new Silver Nano one and I love it its Awesome! But yea you can't go wrong with the classic

i GOT the ultra chi in emerald and i can't wait to use it by my mom made me wrap it right when i got home and i have to wait till Christmas, but i am certain i will LOVE it!

CHI is definately one of the best out there! And the price isn`t too bad either - as long as you take care of the flat iron and don`t drop it too many times! haha.

Do not hesitate to buy a CHI you will not regret it! As for a heat protectant I use Tressame Heat Protectant Thermal Spray everyday and love it! Plus it is less than four dollars at Wal-Mart!!!!
