Hey guys,

So my hair's really thick and a combo of wavy and curly. I'm desperately in need of a new flat iron. I have a Conair flat iron and im so over it snagging my hair and only about getting my hair about 70% straight.

My hair is pretty long (about 3 1/4 ft) and I can hardly afford to be yanking my hair out @_@ (not to mention, first thing in the morning, nothing pisses me off much faster... lol).

I'm seriously considering buying a higher end flat iron, but i'm not sure which one to buy. I figured i'd buy a more professional one since i've heard all of these grand-fabulous things about them.

Has anyone here tried the Chi or the Sedu flat iron?

If so, do you think it was worth the price?

Sorry I haven't used either, but have you checked out the youtube reviews? (I have a GHD which I

) The Sedu seems to get really good reviews on there.

I would vouch for Chi Flat Iron. For over 15 years, they have been the most respected salon tool on the market. With their smooth ceramic surface, they can transform your wavy or curly hair into smooth and silky hair in a matter of minutes.

You can get them at a genuinely discounted rate at ChiDiscounts.com

Chi doesnt sell any irons online authentically. If you purchase a Chi online and try to return it to the manufacturor (Farouk Systems) the warranty will be null and void.

Oh wow, that's really helpful to know HairEgo. Thanks for that tip.
