I don't have time to make my own Body Scrub,

but my favorite was called Ginger and Cardamom by the Body Shop.

It smelled absolutely fantastic..I have never smelled anything better. And while I'm not a huge Ginger fan, it was a subtle smell.

Of course, The Body Shop discontinued it...

personally, i prefer exfoliating gloves to scrubs. that way i get to use any shower gel i like and still get primo exfoliation! i know that i probably shouldn't, but i do use them everyday! i love when my skin feels smooth like butta! lmao

I usually buy mine at Walmart, Target or Ulta.

Thanks to both!

i made a really good body scrub recipe i got out of a magazine about 2 years ago. it's like one part honey to two parts raw turbinado sugar(such as "sugar in the raw"at any and all health food stores ). my skin felt really soft and squeeky after i used it

I used to buy, but now I just make my own. I use the same recipe you use goddess, sometimes I add oils to make it smell good. I've found it helpful to make it when I'm using it, and mix it in my hands first wearing some of those bath gloves. It's awesome! I like that a lot better than storing it in jars, because it's fresh. I only use body scrubs about once a week, more often in the winter because the cold can make your skin so dry!

I havent made my own yet - I havent bought one since my last one. I think I want to try using honey and sugar since I bought a jar of honey and might as well use it!

I made my own scrub! It makes my skin glow and I received a few compliments already:

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup olive oil

A few squirts from a lemon (or 1 tsp lemon juice)

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp vegetable glycerin (this is optional I believe. I have a bottle so i used some)

1/4 cup water (helps scrub stick to skin)

Thanks for the recipe! I LOVE scrubs but never made my own. I'd like to try this. Where do you get vegetable glycerin? Since it's optional I might leave it out.

My current favorite scrub is Green Tea Salt Glow by ABRA. It's by far the best i've found and i've tried many brands. I hate the ones that have too much oil or disolve too quickly if you have too much water on your body....know what I mean?

I just got mine from a health food store - it's super cheap. Like $4 and you only use like a capful so it lasts for a lot of uses.

I use BBW Sweet Pea body scrub and ...I LOVE it! My skin is so smooth and soft after using it and I love the scent too!

I can't do body scrub! I am not sure why - but the times I have tried, it just wasn't enjoyable. I guess because I used it with a loofah which gives that exfoliant already - but I just can't use it, lol

Also, if they have too much oil and they separate its a pain to mix it up again. I had Origins Pomegranate scrub and it separated. It also stained my tub so that is why I dont use it.

I just got Lush's Aqua Mirabilis scrub and its smells so good. I think its a keeper and I will be buying it again. Here is some info on the product for those of you who are interested.

The Aqua Mirabilis is now even more of a miracle. New, improved Aqua Mirabilis is BIGGER! Hooray! Now you can scrub generously all over and not worry about it running out before you reach your toes. If you ever treat yourself and get a scrub at a spa, the beauty therapists expect to exfoliate away huge swathes of dead skin. If you regularly give yourself an Aqua Mirabilis softening scrub, with its gently exfoliating ground almond shells, they are astonished to find that you've already got lovely, soft, fresh, healthy skin with hardly a dead grey cell there at all. The Aqua Mirabilis turns your bath or your shower into an instant, bargain body therapy. We make it with sandalwood and rose perfumes to soften your skin, cocoa butter and apricot kernel oil to moisturise it, plus natural ground almonds to scrub you even softer. You will feel fantastic after using one of these. Promise

They sounds good, Marisol! I've got the Buffy the Backside Slayer and I love how soft I feel afterwards and don't require lotion. I wanna try the Aqua Mirabilis next!

I don't have any body scrubs at the moment, but i want to buy Philosophy's Gingerbread Man, i heard that it's so good, leaves skin soft and smooth with a delicious permanent smell.

It does! I was skeptical about this because SOOOO many people were talking about it and I was like "It can't be that good". Well it was.

I have never made my own but sounds interesting. Currently I am using Life Brand Coconut body scrub

My favorite body scrub ever was from the Tutti Dolce line at Bath and Body Works. It was cinnamon, and it's been d/c'd and I'm so upset because it smelled soooooooooooooo good. Thank God I still have some left that I'm savoring.
