So....I recently read a lot about this stuff and figured I'd give it a shot. From teh reviews that I have read, I have heard that it was supposed to maek teh hair grow faster and thicker. It's also supposed to make it more healthy. Not to mention help the nails grow longer and stronger too! So...I bought some.

I have been taking them for about a week. GOSH I LOVE IT! The main reason I have taken it is because my hair. I want to improve the condition and let it grow out a little longer (it's already quite long). I figured a little extra help wouldn't hurt. SO far what I have noticed is that my nails are definitely thicker!!! It's amazing! I can't even bend them now. My hair doesn't fall out as much in the drain either! YAY! Oh....and my hair doesn't really get too frizzy anymore either. It's amazing after just a week but that's what I have noticed so far. I have had no bad side effects or stomach aches or anything of that sort. I ordered mine from Puritan's Pride over the internet. They are currently having a sale buy 1 get 2 free!!! How great is that? I couldn't pass up the offer. So...I bought one bottle (100 tablets) and got 2 other bottles free. Which I ended up getting 300 tablets for 10.90 and that includes shipping fees!!! Just a little more info...I take 2 tablets daily (2000 mcg or 2 mg). This product is defintiely worth a try!!!

Thanks for sharing, I read about this somewhere before and now I am going to order some off that website today.

Janelle, I love your new avatar. Your are simply beautiful darling!!!! No wonder you are the guru!

Thanks for sharing your results. I have been wanting to try these for a while but have not yet. this post has rekindled my urge to get my hands on some of these.

I bought some biotin today. I went to get my hair trimmed and I ask the lady what would help it grow. She said Biotin or Co Q 10 or 2 other things. I saw the biotin for 1.38 for 60 tablets at walmart so I got it. It is 1000 mcg. It says one a day, but would it hurt to take 2? I really need some help with my hair and my nails. My hair doesn't grow as fast now as it used to.

I started taking the Hair, Skin and Nails supplements from GNC. So far they are working really well. It's only been about two weeks and I have forgotten to take them here and there. I do notice a difference though, I reccomend it.

Biotin made me breakout. This happens to some people so if you start taking this and get spots you may want to cut your dosage down a bit. MSM also can help with hair growth and mantenance, but dont take if you are allergic to sulfur containing products.

Biotin is a water soluable vitamin. This means that your body will absorb what it needs, and urinate the rest away. So you are safe to take whatever amount you think you need. For me, 1000mg is enough.

I might have to look into this! Not that I need longer hair (it's already halfway down my back!), but I could stand to have longer, stronger nails!

My HG for nail growth and improved hair condition is Folic Acid. I take 1 tablet (800 mcg) daily. My nails had always been soft and never really grew at all so I always had gel or acrylic nails, but now many people at work cannot believe that my nails are "real". My hair has also shown improved growth and less fall out. I highly recommend Folic Acid. It's also much less expensive than specialy vitamins.
