hi, does any have this product, i went to the salon and the lady put this on my hair then she flat iron it with a ghd, ive only use it once and i kind of forgot how it feels, do u think its worth getting for $17+ and what does it do to ur hair, i want something that makes hair shiny, frizz free after i iron it, and protect from heat uv stuff, ok thankss if u can please recommend any other products that will work the same.

I haven't used it in awhile, but I think it was a little too heavy on my hair... I know it works good on a lot of people though. You can try ebay to see if you can get a bottle cheaper...

I love Silk Therapy. A hairdresser used it once when styling my hair after a cut, and I fell in love with it, and had to get a bottle. I didn't find it to be heavy, but then again, my hair is pretty dense and thick. I use it all the time for shine and frizz control, but mostly when I heat style for protection. Besides that, it makes my hair feel super soft. Here's a link with details from Farouk Systems who make Silk Therapy.

thanks guys, it didn't weigh my hair down, i really want it though, i went to trade secret and kept debating i didn't buy it yet, i probably will

i've used it. its good stuff. the guy who does my hair uses it

on me when i get my hair cut. only a small amt is needed to

stop the frizzies and keep the hair under control.

i usually use it after i get out of the shower and scrunch

a dime -size amt in my hair. if you are going to use a flat iron

or blow dryer, i would suggest reading the directions on the label

hope this helps

Linda, I dont know if there's a Costco near you cuz I bought the silk therapy there at around $11/bottle(the medium size). I first bought this product in a hair salon and it's like $20 per bottle unitl I found it at Costo......Yeah, it works well on anti-frizz and it wont be too oily that gives you a look like you havent washed your hair for days.

i've used it and it's good for occasional use. it did make my hair smoother and less frizzy. and it smelled good!

I love it! Remember, less is more. You only need a teardrop of this stuff.

I think Costco sells it for less.

mabelwan, i do have costco near me and i got costco card to lucky me, lol i need to go check that place outt. thanks again

it's all i use on my hair - love it. just be careful to only use a dime size of it. otherwise it's a nightmare!

I have a bottle that's almost finish. I love the smell. At first, I did find it a bit expensive but it lasts forever! You only need a very small amount and that makes the bottle go by so slowly! It's definiately worth the price.

i used it for a very long time now...and i don't think there's anything that can replace it haha... because i have super thick curly hair and i use it to put in my hair before i flat iron my hair to get it straight and it really helps make my hair straighter, flatter, shiny, frizz free....and it keeps it that way...no matter how humid it is outside!!...unlike other products that i've used to straighten my hair...you should definitely give it a try... i also get mine from costco(medium size bottle)... but if you want to try the biosilk shampoo, conditioner, and Shine on spray...check out JC Penny in the salon section and they have it for 30 dollars for all 4 of those products...and you get the LARGE bottle of silk therapy!!..that will last you forever...because a little goes a loooong way...

I use Aquage Beyond shine it is a spray so it goes on lighter w/ the same silkening effect. No oil spots. It also doesn't weigh on the hair.

when u use it. put a dime size on your hands && rub it then distribute evenly.

does bio silk have silcone in it.

I think using this for blowdrying is okay. Just use little. But for a flat iron i dont know.

i love it !! you can also use it on your face.... it gives you a baby smooth skin and a perfect base for m/u... dont know if it last your m/u longer tho
