Best straightening iron/treatment for fine hair?

Hi all, I have super-fine hair and I'm looking for a good straightening iron and treatment to keep the frizzes at bay. I have heard that for fine hair, it is not good to use a super-hot iron as it can create split ends. so I am looking for a good iron with variable heat settings.

Also, can someone recommend a good smoothing treatment to pair with it? Right now I am using Oscar Blandi's jasmine serum but I find it can be a bit too oily. Same with Frizz-Ease. Is there a spray that I can use instead?
