Best salon shampoo/condit for my hair type?

I've decided to try using salon products. I've used drugstore stuff my whole life but my hair has been feeling really dry and breaking. (I don't dry, dye, or anything like that to my hair. Just let it air dry and put it up in a lose ponytail for work. Also I get a trim about every month or so.)

My hair is past my shoulders, very thick, wavy, and like I said it's dryyyyy. Any advice on what salon products might be good for my hair type??

have you tried using a deep conditioner? i've found that even with salon products, you'd need to use a DC.

I would go with Biolage Hydrating shampoo and the Hydrating Conditioning balm... love them!
