Looking to get the Flat iron spray, leave in and the tonic - hopefully this will help my dry, damaged hair. Any other recs would be great, if you think I need'em.

My hair is color-treated, dry, frizzy, wavy, med. thickness but fine & starting to have allot of breakage.

Thanks

I found this site, they carry the products - anyone order from here?

Do you have an Ulta nearby? That's where I usually get mine. You can check their website to see if they sell them on there... ( www.ulta.com ) or another one you can try is this:

Thanks...do you think the products I'm looking at are okay for my type of hair - should I get the poo/cond. also?I'm unsure about the soya want flat hair - I don't like to 'feel' product in my hair - what do you think on this - should I pass & just use the leave-in w/the tonic?

I'm going to see if there is an Ulta near me ~~

VICKIH - No I haven't tried them before - I just have read the raves around here for this line - My hair is soooooooooooo damaged right now - I was going to invest in a new flat iron (I have the Chi) that has temp. control, but, I think I need to do 'repair' first w/a good cut and hopefully products.

Janelle.. let me ask you about this because you seem to be the expert on this. : )

my hair is oily but I have very dry ends. I do highlight my hair but am going back to my natural chocolate/black haircolor on friday with a gloss.

what product would you use if you were me?

my hair is in need of something good. Oh I also have a sensitive scalp so I do get dandruff as well (which i HATE).

Well when you first get it colored, I would stick with a color protective shampoo for awhile (Matrix's color smart is nice) and since you have oily roots and dry ends, Just shampoo your scalp... the water rinsing the shampoo out and down through the rest of your hair is enough to clean the ends without stripping it of moisture. And when you condition, only condition the ends... don't go near the roots!

Luvlittleboy --- I honestly don't think you would really need the flat iron spray right now... especially if you aren't ironing on a regular basis. If you're just drying it straight - the tonic is fine. The flat iron spray I find works best when used with the iron. You spray it on dry hair ... then go over it w/ the iron. It's not really heavy, but you really only see any result from it when you iron. If your hair is fine, better to keep the products to a minimum, unless you're going to need it.

so you wouldn't recommend anything from the Healthy Sexy line?

Well when the color is fresh... for the first week, I'd try to wash it only every other day, so the cuticle seals, and the color shampoo would keep it vibrant. SexyHair makes a color shampoo called "color me sexy" which is great to add a little 'oomph' to color. After a week or so, I'd go w/ the soy milk moisturizing shampoo & conditioner from the HealthySexy Line....
