One can safely continue fast with eating fruits and vegetable juices, hygienic diet, especially concentrating on eating the nuts and salads without having problems with yeast. No diet can compare to a diet of nuts, fruits and green vegetables for luxuriant growth of hair, nail and shiny and soft skin.

Both hair and nails grow well during a fast, too. Sometimes we may face little bit hair fall and people think that they are becoming bald, but fasting does not produce baldness, but it will replace the hair with more healthier hair and their hair becomes grow again until they have as many as they had before. Finger nails in the same way that sloughed-off skin is replaced. The body will replace fingernails and hair in the same way that sloughed-off skin is replaced. It's difficult to notice, but your skin is regularly sloughing off and being replaced by new, healthier tissue. In the same way, the body will replace lost hair with more lustrous hair and lost fingernails with stronger, sturdier nails. People who had brittle nail can found their nail more pliable and stronger than before after fasting.

Fruit juice is super high in sugar so any diabetics out there should not even be considering this. Fruits are much healthier tha fruit juice because there's fibre which slows the body's absorbtion of sugar. Proteins are also very important because prolong periods without proteins, especially those containing your 8 essential amino acids, will make you sick and also leave you susceptible to suggestion and weaken your ability to make decisions. (FYI...low protein diets are used for brain washing)

I don't understand. isn't fasting abstaining from any food for a period of time? So then eating fruit, veggies and legumes would be considered a diet of those things?

You are right Reese

Also, you can find proteins everywhere except in fruits and veggies, the trick is to eat either complete proteins (those containing the 8 amino acids our body can't produce) or eat a combination of at least two to get complete proteins

So eating fruits, vegetables and nuts is a diet (i'm using the original meaning of this word, not the other meaning consisting of "changing what i eat in order to lose weight"), not a fast.

I'm more confused as to why you have one thread asking about how your friend wants you to join a gym and stick to your diet, but you want to know if it will have any affect to your beauty, then a thread about whether fasting for a week will give you better health and weight loss, while asking if it will have any effect on skin and hair...

And then a thread about how fasting IS definitively very helpful to beauty, and how it will cure acne, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin infections and also whiten eyes, and this thread that says that fasting grows your hair and nails.

I guess they don't seem like something that would all come from the same person, and it's just confusing to me.

Fasting isn't the same as fruit and vegetable fasting. Fasting is usually abstaining from ALL foods and drinking only water, green tea and or juices. I like fasting, but it's never done anything for my nails or hair. Definitely clears up my skin, though.
