ATTN: people with nose piercings

i got mine pierced about 2 years ago with a needle..

he said he left the stud ittle 'loose' so it would help with the healing.

well...

now it slips ALL the time and i have a silver booger thing hanging out of my nose..

ANYONE else with this problem???

also..

while it was healing..i grew this big gold keyloid around it..=/..

took me a while to figure out how to get rid of it but i used the salt i got from the piercer and it worked like a charm.

i just took my nose piercing out for good. i had it in for over a year and i just got sick of it. it really sucked for the first few weeks because if i turned it or cleaned it i would get this awful pain that gave me headaches. that sucked. and it got infected. i don't miss it, but it did look cute.

i had my nose pierce twice on the same side with a needle.. it got infected and hurt like hell although i liked it, i grew bored and took it out and now i can see the lil hole.. if i had it to do all over again i wouldnt of done it.

I had that problem with mine too, is yours a screw type? I just learned how to rotate the tail on it so it is against like the top of my nose and it stays like that now until I mess with it. hth a little!

yea, just rotate it and it will be fine. and if its too loose, you can go to the place you got it done and haven them take it out and tighten it...OR you can take it out yourself and then tighten it with tweezers, which is what i did. i've had my nose pierced for about 4 years now,, and i LOVE it. it never gave/gives me problems.

sidenote: any recs on where i can find cute nose studs? besides claires and icing stores....?
