I find that my curly hair doesn't do well when I wash it before I go to sleep. When I sleep on it wet, it just turns out funky in the morning. Half of it seems to be straight and it's fuzzy and more prone to frizz... Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I know that several of you girls probably wash your curls then go to bed, so my question is, what works for your curls if you wash n' sleep? Do you roll them, pin them, pull them back in a ponytail, or what?

My hair is really wavy in parts and slightly curled in other parts and I put my hair up to sleep. I put it in a ponytail and curl it and pin it in and in the morning my hair isn't frizzy or dry. I sleep with damp hair though.

Nope, sorry i am like you. I wash my hair every morning to revive my curls. I know it is not good for my hair but A) i feel dirty if i don't and B) I try and use the most moisturizing and vitamin rich shampoos and conditioners i can find, i also put in 2 separate leave in conditioners on top of the mousse and hairspray that i apply last.

Usually my hair looks really nice when i go to sleep with it wet it just looks nice with big curls and not frizzy.

i usually shampoo and condition my hair during the day instead of waiting to do it before i go to sleep because if i sleep with wet hair, the next morning

it gets really unmanageable

i tend to wash my hair then go to sleep. then it'll get curly then fix it up with products later.

then go outside and watch it all my work go away.

ive yet to figure out how to deal with curly hair, so i just normally wear it straight.

I love curly hair, I always thought it would suit me but that's probably only because I have babyfine straight hair haha

I have the same problem, but I don't even bother trying to do it cause it takes so much time and I have to pin it up a certain way because when I sleep it will dry the way i pinned it up.

Aprill849, what would we do with the bottom part of the hair with the silk scarf. I know the top should be flattened (or at least i know mine would) but I don't know how to fix the bottom. My hair comes to the middle of my upper arm and I can't really tell how long citre's hair is.

I have very fine curly hair, **** length.

I wash my hair with shampoo/conditioner 2 times a week. I wash it in the morning, comb it ( I know I shouldnt do this wet, but I have to!), twist it and pin it to the back of my head.

I release my hair when the twist feels damp. Then I finger comb it. I dont use any products, and my curls holds for 2-3 days, then they go wavey and eventually flat. When I notice that my curls are going wavey its normaly time for me to wash my hair again. I sometimes put the shower on, with hot water and that seems to revive my curls some what. Not as much as on a washing day though. Also since my hair is long, it only curls in the front and lower half of my hair..I have no volume. :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

If I sleep with my hair wet, it has very few curls and has little waves in the morning. So I never do that.

i use one those satin bonnets at night, but i still have to at least dampen it in the morning to make it more manageable.
