the one i have is from a drugstore and it costs like $5. and i love it, i dont know if all is the same because i havent tried them all.

I guess I never really understood the use of a diffuser, so I'm of no help. Janelle, our hair guru, can surely answer your question.

Diffusers are great!!!! Especially if you have wavy or curly hair. I use one all the time when I do my hair curly. I have a hard plastic one with finger-like picks in the middle.. by Luxor. It helps to keep the dryer air from blowing your hair all around, creating frizz. If you want defined waves and curls... it's a must have!

I have been letting my hair air dry, with some curling balm in it to prevent frizzies. Once I get the diffuser, should I put the hair dryer on high or low heat? Thank You!!!

I have curly hair and I can't blow dry my hair without it, unless I want a big frizzy mess. For some reason my stylist actually puts the diffuser in my hair when blow drying but I always keep it at a distance. This reduces the frizz and keeps my curls together.
