I was thinkiing of buying their treatment that says it can transform damaged hair back to normal. I wanted light brown streaks in my hair recently, so it had to be bleached first since my hair is so dark. That damaged my hair so badly. It takes forever to dry, its so soft and stretchy when its wet like its just gonna fall or break off. This is only on the very top part of my hair though, where the streaks were. The other 90 percent of my hair is healthy, and I don't want to cut it because my hair has always been really long, and I want to keep it that way. I need a way to fix that part of my hair so that I dont have to part it to the side to hide the damage, so I would like your opinions on this product, or any other solutions would be great as well.

I meant to say any instead of anything in the title...oops

I don't think it's possible to "transform" your hair back to normal...unless you grow it out...but of course it can help to use hair masks and other treatments... :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />...Kerastase has a line called "resistance"...i used it some years ago when my hair wasnt feelin too good...it worked good for me... :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />...and also try not to heat style your hair that only makes it worse if your hair is damaged to begin with!

Thanks for replying...maybe I should try kerastase since it seems like a lot of people like their products.

No prob :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />...Products always have different results for different people...but kerastase generally is a well liked brand...hope it works out for you!

Myabe neutral (colourless) henna? It works great as a protein teatment.

I fixed your thread title Tiffany. Years ago, my mom made me use a product or two in my hair. I totally forgot which ones they were, but she claimed they helped my hair. (I was too young to know or care, but I remember the name because I used to find it slightly funny LOL!)

I tried Aphogee products from Sallys and they have alot of protien in them that helps stop the mushy feeling that really damaged hair has, but after a while it can actually make your hair drier. Smells terrible

I am a new employee at Sallys, but I was adviced that the Aphogee line is very popular. I dont know anything about it, but if people are buying it, that must mean something, right?

Thanks for the replies everyone...I wanted it because the damaged part of my hair feels mushy and weird when its wet, and feels like it could just snap off. Parting my hair to the side hides the damage since its just the very top layer of my hair when its parted in the middle, but I want to actually fix it instead of just hiding it. It wasn't expensive when I saw it, so I'll probably end up trying it out soon. Slightly off topic- the other day I used apple cider vinegar to get rid of some product buildup in my hair, and for some reason, my hair didn't have that mushy fragile feeling. I don't know if its the acv or all the deep conditioners I've been using.
