I think I know what you're talking about...I have a similar problem on the left side, and sometimes it appears flat or hollowed..I bring my blush up to under my eyes...It gives it a lift and makes my cheekbones appear somewhat higher.

OO thats interesting. I put this on after foundation?

Its weird because I feel like I can see the hallow-ness more when I'm wearing makeup then when I'm not. Does it have something to do with my application?

Well my problem lies within the first 1/3 of the eye. I've tried taking away focus with blush and such but it doesn't work :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I hope the Arbonne lotion helps!

Another cosmetic solution--You may like Touche Eclat from YSL. It's a creamy highlighter/concealer that is very versatile and easy to use. You can use it on bare skin or over foundation. It's spendy (around $36) but you can find the best deals on eBay or QVC.

I hope the Arbonne helps too! I'll have to try it as well. My problem is in the first 1/3 of the eye, too, but I don't think it can be corrected by a lotion. The bone was actually broken ten years ago, and a piece of it actually blew out! It's amazing that a millimeter can make such a big difference, but concealors won't even touch the area. If your problem is collagen related, then hopefully it can be addressed with a serum. I'd love to know if it helps.

I think sculptra can also be used to address problems like this. It's used for people who have auto immune defiency virus and individuals with thin skin whose skin tends to rest right on the muscle, and just anyone who wants a little rejuvenation. It increases thickness up to three times, and fills in the deepest of lines (according to what I've read online). Bascially, it restores fat loss. It's an injectible, like collagen, but requires no skin test, and it's long lasting (once desired result is obtained, it lasts up to two years). It's a lactic acid derivative and biocompatible, and works over time to increase fullness to the area.

:icon_smil Hi Naturally! Thank you for answering. Yeah, I know the line doesn't use any fragrance, my mom was a consultant when the company first started and she LOVED the products! I was only able to use a few of them because I get extremely allergic responses from some herbals, botanicals, some essential oils and extracts, and in addition some of the scents can trigger a migraine. So, I have to watch what I use. But, I do well with Orange and love it so I would probably do fine with the RE9. I will have to check it out. I am getting drier around my eyes as I get older and am needing richer eye creams. I am starting to layer them, gel, to get the anti puffing and other gel related benefits and a oil free rich cream for the benefits of the moisturizing and skin softening. I am looking for ONE cream that does it all. I know, I am probably dreaming! I use a cream gel for day and a fragrance free cream from the health food store at night that has chamomile, cucumber, ginko and other things and is really moisturizing. I love it but I would really like to find one with advanced ingredients that would help with signs of aging AND stops the dryness, so I don't have to mess with the two! But I will definitely look into the Arbonne RE9. I saw on ebay that they have a whole RE9 line! Does the link you sent me have info on that? I haven't gotten to look at it yet! I will be looking at it after this. I just wanted to thank you for sending me the information. Thank you for all your help! It was really nice of you to send it! Thanks again, you are a sweetheart!:clap Chermarie

OMG! :icon_eek: So you broke the bone and it never healed normally again? That must been a terrible accident :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'm sorry to hear, thankfully your ok!

Kim, Can you explain the process of what the Arbonne cream does? Will it add collagen to the area and puff it out like I hope it will? Or am i wishful thinking?

Oh no. It wasn't a terrible accident at all, actually. In fact, I didn't feel anything at all. The bone broke, and I didn't even notice until I was doing something that created pressure in the eye socket and blew the chip out...Then it fell back into place a couple of weeks later, eventually sinking about a millimeter deeper. It just looks a little flat and kind of permanently bruised. I tell myself my dark eye looks mysterious and gothic. It makes me feel better. lol.

I'll probably try the sculptra at some point, myself...I think overall it will be the least expensive resort and longest lasting solution for the problem.

:icon_smil OMG that sounds great and all in Orange! YUM! I am getting to "that" age where my skin is changing radically just within the last month or so! I noticed that the mineral makeup I have been using for YEARS now is FEELING dry and LOOKING dry on my face! I have to be careful though to use oil free products though because I get little bumps under the skin and breakouts. So I am going to have to go to a liquid base with oil free moisture in it. But I know that I also need some extra help in some areas. That RE9 line sounds great. Do you know if it is oil free?I would love to try the scrub and eye cream(eye cream doesn't have to be oil free)! Also is the mask a moist one or a clay type? Is the eye cream gentle? I have really sensitive eyes and have been using Principal Secret Advanced eye creme/gel in a tube with no problem, but it is made irritant free for very sensitive eyes. Dewey skin is exactly what I am after! Unfortunately some people think dewey means greasy! Matte skin as you get older, as you know, just does NOT look good! And if I want to keep people guessing about my age, I have to do some tuning up! I will be trying some of the line and see how it works! Thanks for the info! Also, if you can, let me know whether the line is oil free or not. Thank you for everything ! You have really been a great help. Thanks again my dear, and have a great day!:icon_love Chermarie

:clap PERFECT! It sounds REALLY good! I like the avocado oil in it too! Thanks so much for all your help and info. I can't wait to try it! You have been a sweetheart! Thank you!:icon_love Chermarie

Wooohoo so I finally got the Arbonne eye cream today! Can't wait to see if it works for me. I'll keep you guys posted! Thanks kim and everyone else of course :icon_chee

Kim and everyone else of course--

I went to Estee Lauder today to check out some make up. The lady working at the counter was yapping to me about EL skincare. (She apparently also does Peels and Microdermabrasion elsewhere) she told me that using Glycolic Acid can be harmful to your skin over time. And that its "too much" for the face. She said a glycolic peel every month is good and microderm every month was good too. But using glycolic toners, cleaners daily ect was just too much for the skin.

What are your thoughts on this?

:icon_roll Hi Greenayeangle, My thoughts are her primary goal is to sell you EL for her commission check and as you said she apparently has peels and microdermabrasion somewhere???? As a former freelance MA and then also worked as a SA at Nordstrom I know FOR A FACT that quite a few of the MA's behind the counter AREN'T USING THEIR OWN LINE OR NOT USING IT SOLELY OR COMPLETELY. Yet they will tell you they are and they get results because of whatever products they are trying to sell you,and you have to buy the WHOLE line and that is the ONLY way you can use it. They also fail to mention any intervention they may have from a derm or a plastic surgeon. You have to do what works for YOUR skin. Some people with sensitive skin or young skin don't use a product like someone else would. I am DEFINITELY NOT saying to use anything the way I do, But I have been using the glycolic cleanser 1X day for years with no ill effects and I look NO where near my age. But, I also am religious about spf and skin care and staying out of the sun, do not smoke, etc. I do a peel once a week and microdermabrasion as needed (I feel my skin and let it tell me and I use different products like Vit C or other things for those, but it is about 1X wk or 2. ). Glycolic acid is derived from sugar and the strength level depends on the products and what they will be used for. Different %levels of acid strength are needed for the different purposes. What a Dr. uses is a VERY high % and you would not be able to purchase it. It also is meant to peel (or burn) a level or layer of the skin surface off. A cleanser is not a high % and is only on your skin a short time for cleansing and exfoliation and then rinsed off. You are not leaving it on for long periods. It simply gently dissolves the "glue" that hold the dead skin cells to the surface and rinses them away so your skin looks fresher and the cells don't pile up and accentuate things like crows feet or frown lines. It helps keep the pores cleared so they don't plug up. I don't think you need 5 million glycolic products. I do know people who use the cleanser and then use a lotion at night with no problem. It is just like anything else, you don't want to over do. Maybe she thought you were refering to using high strength products all together everyday. That might irritate your skin depending on what kind of skin you have. But like I said, a glycolic cleanser is on your skin for just a short period and it isn't presription strength. If you have dullness or your skin doesn't look fresh or you have breakouts or whatever, it might be the thing for you. Some people say you shouldn't use any kind of alpha hydroxy acid at all and some people shouldn't because they have very sensitive skin but with all the technology with buffering and delivery systems more and more people use them BECAUSE THEY WORK. I would bet money she was using them! So do what works for YOUR skin, try things out and see what makes your skin it's best. And look out for salespeople! I used to get in trouble because I sold people what they needed according to their skin's needs and NOT the whole line in my line just because it is what they told me I had to do. I always figured if you are honest and help them with what they need, maybe an eye cream from Clinique, a Lancome cleanser and a Clarin's mask, IF that is what made THEIR skin it's best that is what we did and they were happy. I would rather they be happy and have great skin they loved and came back to me because they knew I had their best interest at heart than have them go home with all this product that wasn't right and hate it. So I always say, find someone to work with that is honest and will work with you to find what you need and hang on to them! There are a lot of people with knowledge on this site so that helps, you get to use it all! You know your skin and body better than ANYONE on earth because you live in it everyday. Do what you feel and you will know if it works for you, then go from there. And if you have questions you know we are all here...hugs and goodluck:icon_love Chermarie
