Hmm This is kinda difficult to explain so I'll try my best. I read/hear stories about ladies with puffiness ect under eyes. Well I actually feel like I have the opposite problem. Right under the first 1/3 part of my eyes its like my skin is indented inwards, thus giving me a sunken in look. With makeup (concealers ect), even in pictures I sometimes can see this. Its really annoying. I hope this makes sense as I'd like to know what I can do to try to correct this issue?! If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it! TIA!

OMG! Aging? I'm only 26!! :icon_eek: LOL :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks for the info, can you suggest a cream or lotion? I'm in Canada so hopefully I'd be able to access it here.

Thanks!!

I noticed the first signs of aging around my eyes at 25, I don't think it's uncommon unfortunately :icon_cry:

here is a exercise i learned from my flex effect program, and it worked for me. take index finger (the program calls for using three middle fingers, but i find it easier espceially at first using one) put on your lower eyelid just below your eye lash, then pull the lid down with your finger, at the same time try to shut your eye using your lower eye lid. you should feel resistance, your eye lid may even trimble some, hold for a count of 6 , work your way up to doing 10 sets of these 2 x a day, in two weeks you should start seeing a difference, you can do just one eye and get a idea of how it is working by comparing to the eye you have not done. remember you are going after the muscle , not your skin so press firmly,( not so hard your eye hurts but so your finger does not slip) , so you dont strech your skin. may take a time or two of practice but you will get the hang of it. also use a eye cream after your done with the exercises.

Also, how long does it generally take to see results while using these type of eye creams? Is it an immediate thing or over a period of time?

DHC stands for Daigaku Honyaku Center, means University Translation Center.

Actually ,it's originally started as a translation center in Japan.

I have this same problem (or had). I didn't think much about it until my early 30s, as I had it all my live & was able to handle it w/concealers. I happened to look at a picture of my 3 year old nephew & he had the same thing! I realized they must be the family "dents." I had fat injected by a plastic surgeon and it worked for over 10 years. My body has now reabsorbed it, and I am considering doing it again, or seeing if there is some new technique invented in the last 10 years. I tried all the creams, but if you have actual "dents" like I did, they won't work.

Thanks guys for the info!

I found this eye cream on the Sephora website:

BORBA

BORBA Fiber-Knit Orbital Eye Rejuvenator helps minimize dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and winrkles, for a younger appearance.

Revolutionary, cosmeceutical grade hydrolyzed silk and moisture boosters help aid hydration for a more youthful appearance, collagen pre-peptide, (isolated from yeast), increases the rate of elastin synthesis, helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, creatine helps re-energize the appearance of toned, youthful eyes, soy establishes a supportive network for skin while providing a tightening sensation and biogenic vitamin C helps reduce irritation, puffiness, dark circles and swelling.

What do you think of it Naturally? Is it something I can consider? Its about $65 so I want to make sure I'd be buying a good product. I don't know much about this stuff! Thanks!

I think you mean hollow eyes. And as the person above me mentioned, sometimes cream don`t work, but you can always try and see. And yes fat injections can then be an option, but if you`re gonna do that, make sure it is done by a proffesional person. HTH, bye ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />!

Thanks, I really didn't know there was a term for it. For me personally, I don't think its so bad that I'd need fat injections but they are still a little bothersome. Thats an interesting option though-- didn't know that was possible!

Ya $65 is the USD price, CND it would be even more :/

I don't know where to find DHC products? Do they have a website? How would I go about finding an Arbonne consultant in my area? Thanks

:icon_neut Don't panic! You aren't going to turn into some horrid creepy disney character! (The witch of under eye hollows!)Those hollows and dark circles under your eyes can be caused not just by age but thin skin there where the veins show through, or sinus or allergy problems, or not enough sleep or not restful healing and restorative sleep just to name a few. It could also be a vitamin deficiency or be hereditary. Find a GOOD serum with any combo of these: vit k (one of the best), vit c, peptides, natural algae extracts, antioxodants (like alpha lipoic acid), cucumer and witch hazel seem to help. Also Tea extract or chamomile are supossedly helpful as is reducing stress. There are some other things that are in Dr. Perricones book that I can't think of right now.His products are ridiculously expensive, But his recommendations are very good. If you can get a good Firming&dark circle reducing eye cream (clinique, Estee lauder, origins and principal secret make good ones) and then use a temporary tightening serum like "Sudden Change (at drug stores)or Sally hansen makes a dbl ended eye lift and concealer wand that is very good (just don't OD on the lift or you will end up with a white film) You should be OK. I go ahead and pat my foundation over it to blend it with the rest of my face but you don't have to if it matches your skin or foundation. You can also use it on other parts of your face (like between brows or nose to mouth lines or upper lip) Also to be sure you don't look sunken, put just a touch of illuminating pencil or makeup in the corner of your eyes near you nose. In addition before my eye makeup, I use Laura Geller eye spackle, it is very light in color ( a cream color) and thick but if you just touch it and pat it lightly and gently on and bring some down onto the dark spot just below the tear duct, you will notice the light takes away from the dark and it wakes up your eyes. I some of this works:icon_smil Good luck with it, I know how it is, I have the same thing! Chermarie

Yeah, their stuff is really good.

I think, It's still number one hit in Japan until now.

Kim do you think the Arbonne NutriMin C RE9 REpair Corrective Eye Creme would help my issue? Does it have all the ingredients needed to help?

Excellent Thank you! I ordered this off Ebay so I'm glad I purchased the right one. Will it help with the "hallow eyes" issue? Does it have the collagen and pro peptide ingredients you mentioned earlier? Also, when would you apply this creme? AM/PM? Can I wear it under makeup? I know lots of questions!! hehe Thanks in advance :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Excellent thanks for that info! Do you put it all over the eye or just underneath? Would I put this on my lid or is that not neccessary? Also, how long does this bottle typically last?

:icon_surp WOW! I ran across this post while I was wandering through the website and was SO impressed with this RE9 stuff! Is it an eye cream or is it a serum or what?? And what is it primarily used for? And how is it used? I see that it is made by Arbonne, my mom used to be a consultant but I was unable to use the products because of the scent or fragrance of the ingredients. I am very sensitive to almost all fragrance so I couldn't even use the makeup. Does it have any scent to it? It has SO many really good ingredients I would love to know more. Is there a site where I could find out more or could you enlighten me? I'd appreciate it. It sounds wonderful! Thank you for sharing this information and posting this. This is GREAT!:clap Chermarie

Cosmetically speaking, you could put a lighter colored concealer or brightener in that area. Putting a lighter and brighter color there will give the illusion that the area is not sunken. I suggest Benefit's EyeBright pencil. Draw it into the indentation and blend.

:clap OH! Greeneyedangle! I posted before about some things that helped but I have since tried something NEW that worked for me. I know it sounds weird and I haven't read a review or anything about it but I saw that Naomi Judd had a skin care line that is VERY reasonable. She had some top derms and cosmeceutical scientists on this deal. My mom lives on a fixed income and I always give her skin care, perfume and cosmetics for her b-days and holidays with things I know she would not be able to get. This time I wanted to be sure that if she liked it she would be able to continue getting it for herself as she needed. I tried the line and found it to be VERY nice and the scent is extremely subtle but a DIVINE lightly scented rose. I noticed they sold these things called (I think)) Dark Circle Eye caps. They are these lavender little soft vegie caps that you twist off the little end and get a fresh dose each time so no contamination. It is a serum and you put it under your eyes (it says not to but I also put it on my upper lid for some under skin discoloration that looked like bruising). I have been using it now for a month and I notice a definite difference! It got rid of the bruised color spot on my upper lid and under eye is not so dark colored and sunken looking. Mine was caused by the blood vessels under thin skin. I make sure I am not without it now and it is really affordable,a little over $20 for a month supply. They have a good return policy also. It does take time for ANY product to work so you just have to be patient and see what it does, but a month or two should let you know if it works or not. Give it a try, at www.mynaomi.com. Their handmade bath soap is luscious too, it makes the whole bathroom smell like a beautiful english rose garden. So if the dark circle caps don't work...get some of the soap and heck take a relaxing aromatherapy bath! Some candles, a glass of wine, some relaxing music, maybe the calm will help reduce the circles! hehehe Anyway,I just had to share my new find since it worked for me. I hope it can help you:icon_wink , if not I will keep my ears open for anything I hear that might help. In the meantime have you tried a peach or yellow colored concealer under your foundation? That seemed to tame it a bit for me. Good Luck:icon_love Chermarie
