PLEASE, ask away. Seriously, I have gone to classes for extensions and coloring and while I do not have a degree in it because I did not finish the courses as a whole, (lack of funding D

I can answer any questions you might have about extensions. I have had extensions for the past 2 years, off and on, and I love them
biggrin.gif
But you HAVE to know how to take care of them, and your own hair as a total when you have them.

I will answer your questions here:

My real hair color, this was before I started dying my hair, sometime in my sophomore year of highschool. My hair was very very long too, down to my waist.

My first hair color experimentation thingy, this was in my junior year, I bleached my hair blonde, then dyed the underside purple and the top green. This was the last stages of the hair color since it was semi-permanant, and right now it looks like a swamp threw up on my hair XD, but I swear, it looked really good at the time, really vibrant, I looked like a walking barney the dinosaur.

Second hair color scenario. My parents didn't like my hair being purple and green because of church and school purposes, so I dyed it dark dark brown and this is also when I started to cut my own hair. You can see where I missed a spot of the green dye and it still showed through my hair. You can also notice the bottom layers of my hair had a redish auburn color to them because the hair dye couldn't cover up the purple completely.

My parents AGAIN got sick of my dark hair, so my mom made me dye it dirty blonde. I hated it D: Senior year of high school, (when I first met my boyfriend too) Lmao. I had this hair until I graduated.

This is when I cut my hair again, you can see that my roots are noticeable and I refused to dye my hair dirty blonde again, so I kept letting it grow and then I decided I was going to cut it one night, so I did.

This was about the time I started to go to school for hair and general courses at a community college, I decided again out of the blue to dye my hair tickle me pink. I had dyed my friends' hair many times, so I just used some left over hair color. I remember thinking it wasn't bright enough.

So I dyed it Atomic Pink on the bottom.

Stripes. I got kept the pink, you can hardly see it, but it's there, and I put in brownish black stripes.

Hair before extensions were put in.

My first extensions
biggrin.gif
I bought them blonde and put them in at first with a weft and glue, but after awhile I decided I didn't like this approach, since it made it hard to pull my hair back at work. The top of my head is my natural hair color, the bottom is golden blonde. I don't have a pic that's not black and white D: I kept these in my hair for at least a good 6 months, then I took them out and bought new ones

NEXT: I dyed my hair atomic pink once again for a string of anime conventions I was going to. It was about 5 conventions around the country, so it was dyed this way for awhile. The extensions were glued in and everything. I took these bad boys out about May 2007. These pics are when they were first dyed and are vibrant as heck. (OMG, I look so fat D: This was also before a lost weight... I look horrible D

(PSSS: Try not to mind the ugly faces and everything, they're myspace pics. Lol)

Um, my hair now. Basically the same as before with the pink only black and blonde extensions and dyed black hair on the bottom. You can still see the pink patch on my bangs that faded through because of the crappy hair dye I used at first (I am never going to trust a Sally employee again, I told myself to get Wella but NOOO, I had to use the new stuff just in because it was "awesome!") Don't use ION hair dye, it sucks.

Anyways, that's my timeline of hair. Don't mind my obsession with straight hair, my hair is naturally wavy and ugly to me, I love straight hair.

I like how you're hair looks now! I've been thinking of getting blonde on the bottom layer of my hair, but I dunno if I should bleach it, or get longer extensions... hmmm. Extensions are so expensive though unless I can talk a friend into doing them cheap lol.

If you get your supplies from Sally's it really only comes out to about $70, and if you take really good care of your extensions, you shouldn't have a problem using them over again. Clean them well, and only use a wide tooth comb on them

Make sure you get human hair too, no synthetic D: They can ruin your hair straightener and smell bad.

Ooh thanks for the tips! I'm an almost-everyday-straightner-user as well.

I might get the clip in ones, my cousins girlfriend bought those and my sister was able to show her how to put them in so maybe I'll do that, I forgot about those.

I love hair timelines! I'm gonna get myself together and make my timeline of '07.

I like how you've changed your hair so much. I have a question, what are the best cheap extensions? Do you recommnd clip ons?

Sassy is the best cheap hair extensions. Clip-ons are okay, but those are strictly for occasions and such. If you expect to put them in and go about your daily life, it's not going to work, they slip around and sometimes come right out D: This is why they are only good for occasions, like if you're going to a wedding or a party.
The best thing to get in my opinion is still fushion or bonding. Weaves hurt, and can give you horrible headaches if they are done wrong, and even then, the professional who did them probably won't give you you're money back.

Awesome! You should totally teach me a thing or two.

I'm thinking about buying the supplies from Sally's.

I haven't been there for quite a while, so what exactly do you recommend me purchasing?

I was considering buying clip ons for a long time now, but I'm starting to change my mind. You say bonding or fushion is the best method?

I know a lot of people can do it by themselves (or have a friend help out), and I dunno that's giving me some hope that I can too. lol.

Any tips about that?

Please don't mind if I have a lot of questions. >o<'
