Hi again and sorry If i seen a pain!

But with my recent thread about extensions and me washing my hair everyday I was wondering if there is anything to stop my hair getting greasy?

I find its mainly my bangs and around the crown of my head, instead of my bangs/fringe/short bits!lol being normal it looks strandy and gappy is the best way to describe like its wet which of course just looks flat.

Is there anything to use to stop this I know I shouldnt wash everyday but its the only way to prevent this, I use tigi shampoo and conditioner.

thanks again

if your hair is as oily as mine why don't you just was the parts that are oily. extensions can get wet. they just shouldn't be washed by shampoo. you can wash the sections of oily hair and rinse in the shower. dry shampoo didn't help me at all. i looked like i could oil the axil of a car. wash with mild shampoo. if you have to condition your bangs do so but don't use conditioner on the rest of your hair. just let the water trickle down thru the extenstions. hope i helped.

You may want to wash your bangs more often than the rest of your hair (you could try a dry shampoo). You can't do much for your bangs apart from growing them out because they will always be in contact with your forehead.

At the risk of sounding stupid, make sure you don't apply conditioner on your roots, and another thing that works for me is to switch shampoos (i use a volumising shampoo and in between a neutral shampoo).

If you have to wash your hair everyday, i used to do that so i understand, you may want to use conditioner twice or 3 times a week, basically when you really need it.

Then, for the flatness, try using a hairspray or gel at your roots, or a volumising spray, and apply some at your roots heat bent. Let dry then style as you want and set with some hairspray (optional). You can also switch side if you have your hair parted on one side.

Thanks this helps, I think it could be the shampoos ive used at the moment i use tigi catwalk oatmeal and honey.

I could just try and wash the top part of my head where i find the flatness therefore im not washing the extensions everyday.

Thanks for all the help and advice

I have dry course hair and I wear wigs, weaves and all these things just to give my hair a good rest from relaxers and curling irons. But to answer your question, wear clippings don't sow it in. With hair clips you can wash your hair everyday.
