Since I've cut it short, my hair looks awful when it airdrys. Now, I wash it, put some heat protectant in it, blow it dry, and then flat iron the bangs and front pieces.

I didn't know everyone did their hair so differently lol. Straight hair just seems all the same to me.

Anyway I comb my curls out in the shower while I have conditioner on, because there is no other way I could get the knots out. When I get out I put in leave in conditioner, comb it with a fine tooth comb, then seperate into sections. I apply styling products to tame my curly hair. Then I let it air dry for a few hours, until its pretty much all dry with damp roots. I use a diffuser on my roots for just a few minutes to give it a little volume and finish it off.

I do all this at night. If Im in a rush I diffuse it dry from wet, and it still looks decent, but I prefer to keep the heat off my hair.

My hair is straight, chin length bob-I towel dry my hair and comb or use my paddle brush to take out tangles. Then I put a dime sized amt of Kiwi blow serum then I let it air dry for about 5-10 minutes then I blow dry it with a round brush. My hair is straight but it does not dry pretty and flat-I need to blow it out to give it volume and direction.

I shower at night, and comb out during shower w the conditioner in hair. If my hair is unruly in AM, I put a lil leave in conditioner for my braid (I'm in the Az Army Nat'l Guard. Hoorah!)

I gently towel dry my hair and then spray leave in conditioner. Next I comb it with a wide tooth comb. When my hair is damp (not soaking wet), I apply either styling lotion or mousse and blow dry it.

I always comb it (with a wide tooth comb) as soon as I step out of the shower. My hair is no different from when I didn't do it. My hair is really healthy so I don't think it makes a difference. Although you should start from the bottom and work your way up

I gently seperate any tangles with my fingers and then I apply a great leave in moisturiserm it's also a heat protector. I also use a serum, so when it's dry, it's soft and shiney. I find my hair is more manageable styling it if I do this.

My hair is naturally curly so I comb it in the shower and just let it air dry. I'll put in some kind of product... usually frizz-ease.

My hair is naturally straight with a weird wave thing in the ends. If I let it airdry it looks horrible. All flat and plastered to my head. I wash, put in a volumizing root spray let it dry for a few minutes then blow it out to give it volume. Then I flat iron or curl it, however I plan on wearing it the next day. Since I have been using a CHI, I can iron or curl it at night and its ready to go in the mornings. Extra 20 minutes I get to sleep!

Before work, I brush my hair straight out of the shower, side part, rub a little bit of serum, put on sunglasses as a headband (it's main purpose of utility), and air dry.

on weekends, i brush straight out of the shower, add mousse or styling creme, blowdry, and then curl with jumbo barrel iron or I serum and run flat iron through... but only on weekends or when i have meetings.

For my hair...

I've noticed best results when I let my hair air dry just a bit before blowdrying. My hair looks weird when I blow dry it straight out of the shower. Besides... it takes FOREVER when I blow dry immediately out of the shower.

right after shampooing, i condition, then, towel dry my hair, then apply a light light liquidy leave in from My honey child hair products, then, blow dry till totally dry.

My hair takes all day to dry if I try to let it air dry...and it gives me really bad headaches for some reason!

Once I get out of the shower, I towel dry my hair so it's just damp. Then I brush through it with a wide paddle brush. Then I put some CHI heat protectant stuff in my hair and blow dry it. I usually do this at night, and then the next day, I spray my hair lightly with a heat protectant spray and then either straighten it or curl it.

My hair is curly and tangles so easily.... so right after showering it, I blot it dry and put in some detangler. Then, before combing I put in a very small amount of CHI Raw silk, just on the last 1/2 of the strands. Then using my fingers I run thru quickly to see if there are major tangles and loosen them if needed. Then (finally!) I comb with a wide tooth comb. I air dry it ... blow drying creates more volume than the Bride of Frankenstein!!

I have trouble with breakage, even though I am very careful when it is wet (or dry) when combing. Maybe I should look into one of the strengthing conditioners.

I also use a comb through my hair instead of a brush. I don't use anything before I blow-dry. It's afterward that I use my 'luminator' for shine and silkiness.
