About a month ago, I got 8 inches cut off of my hair (which is naturally curly, by the way) and now it sits at my shoulders.

The lady who cut it, simply cut it - and failed to put layers in it.

So even when I straighten it, it just sits evenly all around...not much of a STYLE...

any tips on how I can make my hair look decent until I get layers?

p.s. - I'm going to the club tonight, and want to do something a bit edgy - ideas?

thanks =]

I cut my own layers. I am naturally curly also.

I used this method with the hair on top, and then when my hair was down cut a bit straight across so my layers weren't so long.

It depends on what type of club and what type of edgy you're looking for. I say go bone straight, flat iron it, part down the middle and some very smokey dark sexy eye makeup.

Or you could have full bodied hair, part on the side, and curly ends for a more classicly sexy look.

But if it's really edgy you're looking for, stick with my first idea.

Oh, I don't know if I should trust myself with scissors lol

last time I did that, I was 6 and cut off all of my friend's hair on the day of their family portrait =p

well, it's stripper night at the club - so anything will be okay, thanks for the ideas =]

Oh yes, now that I see you in your pic there......I say super straight, part down the middle, you have gorgeous eyes, make them even deeper with some super smokey makeup. Gloss the lips, oh this is reminding me of what's her name......FERGIE! when she went brunette....Yes, that's the look I'm thinking of.

Hope you have fun tonight!

A pink wig would be pretty edgy, imho!! lol I'd lend you one of mine!!

maybe you can curl your hair? like have tighter curls on the top and looser curls on the bottom. if you do it like this, it creates an "appearance" of layers
