Hi there. I am a 42 yr old Hispanic woman who, for the first time, did a chemical peel at home a year ago. I did a 30% Glycolic peel, followed the instructions but it yielded no results at all. It almost gave the appearance of more fine wrinkles and dryness around my eyes. I am attempting to perform another peel for the second time in my life and am leaning towards a TCA peel instead. My question is, should I go with a 50-60% Glycolic peel or should I do a 10-20% TCA peel? I have minor under eye milia, fine wrinkles, age/sun spots, and light new/old acne scars I would love to get rid of. I have a few bad sun, ok, sge spots on my nose that I would really like to get rid of but how can I achieve good results on very tough skin? So basically, my problems areas are on my nose, and cheeks. I want to look and feel my best as I will be going back to school with a bunch of young 20 yr olds lol. With so many different opinions out there, I don't know how to or if prepping my skin before a peel is necessary or if a Hyaluronic serum is good for post peel. Please help, as I am as nervous as the first time I did the peel. Thank You.
