I remove all facial hair except eyebrows twice a week. I had been using Magic Shave twice a week, but now, I only use it once a week, the other time I shave. Works great, my skin is so soft and smooth afterwards. I love the look of zero facial hair, and no, I don't get a five o'clock shadow. LOL

if you're consistent about it, micro-dermabrasion does basically the same thing....and presently you can buy the hand-held tool and the micro-derm solution for pretty cheap...

Hi,

I've heard about this technique (derma-planing) a couple of years ago, but have never seen it done on a client. I think if shaving were to be done, the instrument shouldn't be the typical razor.

I did a girls make up once and she had shaved her face due to downy hair. It was GROSS as the sponge with foundation on it did not glide. I felt really sorry for her. I think you should only do this at a doctors office IMHO. I can't imagine what my Husband would think, lol. Still if it works for you, what the hell.

I'll pass on that. My mom asked me one time if I shaved my face. I was like..uh..no. And she said, good, don't do it because over time the hair on your face will get thicker.
