Why not try the aspirin toner instead of a harsh astringent? Lots of the ladies on here use this homemade toner and find it works a treat, she can carry on using her dove (I use that too and I love it!) and then just use the Aspirin Toner after. Either that or natural witch hazel or tea tree oil definitely as a topical treatment. I use The Body Shop's on any pimples I have

It's too bad that your daughter is starting to get pimples! She's so young and it's tough for a kid to feel different from other kids. I hope you do find a product that's good for her. I don't think that a prescription medicine would be good for her at her age. I agree that you should go natural. Anyway, I recommend aspirin masks and apple cider vinegar. Lots of people tried them and found out that they were good and cheap too. I've used aspirin masks and it's good! Just melt a few uncoated aspirin tablets with apple cider or just water and put it on her face. I guarantee that it would make a difference because it's made of salicylic acid too, which is the ingredient in many pimple products. Good luck! Tell her I know how she feels. I'm suffering from acne too since time immemorial.

Ohhh...that's so young. Poor little thing. Definitely use the most gentle products on her because I know my skin was soooo sensitive when I was little.
