Be it winter or summer, your skin always demands great attention. The only difference is that in winter you use thick creams or moisturizing lotions and in summer you use light moisturizing lotions. Can anyone suggest me a good body lotion for summer as well as winter?

Do you prefer fragranced lotions or fragrance free?

i really prefer scented lotions but because of my psoriasis i can't use them until i am cleared. i love palmers cocoa butter lotion and also some bath and body works scents. now i have to use the medication my derm gave me because i am in the beginning of a 6 week, three times a week, laser therapy. stress caused my psoriasis but now i am having a better time of life. hope laser works.

@Cheshirne Not too much. but little bit of fragrance is fine.

Thanks @wannabepoet, @Renita. it was helpful. Will try them.

I love Josie Maran's line of lotions, oils, etc. Her Argan Oil is perfect for all seasons and if you need some extra moisturizing, then her Whipped Argan Oil Ulta-Hydrating Body Butter is phenomenal! It comes in different fragrances too, so you can have your pick

@Cheshire Thanks. Checked the website. its little expensive. I was looking for a product with less expensive.

I used to have this problem that comes like clockwork every summer and winter.  My skin seems to get rough and thickens during winter.  It must be the extremely dry air.

It was solved when I started using Positively Flawless stem cell serum in aloe.  I also use it at the back of my hand and my neck which also solved some wrinkle problems I have (these are the parts of the body where aging shows together with the facial skin).  I would have used for my legs and body if its not too pricey for such application.

If it is still in the stores, Gold Bond Ultimate Soothing Skin Therapy Lotion. It is Fragrance Free, has "7 calming moisturizers" and most amazing is that it is non-greasy. I got it a year or so ago so they may not still have it. You know how they are....make something good, get ya hooked, then drop it. Good luck.

I looked online and the Gold Bond is still available. There were a lot of positive reviews. It also comes as a cream in a tube but that is thicker and one person noted that it is better in the winter. It is less in price though.

I think the cocoa butter is amazing anytime of year. A recent discovery I made was the Vaseline Spray on lotion. You literally spray it onto the skin and it penetrates deep into your skin to hydrate it. They have an aloe vera based one, shea and a cocoa butter formula. So if you are a palmers girl this may be a really good fix for you for the summer. It also might help if you use the aloe one for the psoriasis.

Hope this helps!

honey clouds!

I used to get scaly hands (yeah, like a snake) but this was also treated by my Positively Flawless stem cell serum in aloe.
