Wigs

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a wig for days when my hair is a mess and I am in a hurry. Do any of you ladies other than ladies of color wear wigs regularly? If so, which do you recommend.

Welcome to MakeUpTalk!! I just love wigs... They give you so many options..

The best solution for you may be to go to your local wig salon and try a few on... personaly I have been buying wigs for years and getting them (12 right now) from 3 online wig stores on ebay... Mine are mainly synthetics since they are easy to maintain and they hold the style that was manufactured into them... vs human hair which are typically more expensive but better looking (not by much) and you can style them how ever you like... but they are higher maintenance. just like your real hair...

So if you want something easy and quick then go synthetic.... If you don't have time to do your real hair then you might not have time to fuss with a human hair wig either.... imho...

Yes, I am looking at synthetic. Which online stores do you get yours at. I like the Eva Gabor, Raquel Welch and Revlon wigs.

To find those specific ones I think you can do a quick search on ebay.. The stores I've had great luck with are Rocky Mountain Beauties, U Look Marvelous and Hair Me Now... Most of the wigs are made on Korea or Japan.. A few from China. I typically pay $25 to $45 for a synthetic online and $45 to $75 for human hair.. But you could spend $100!!

I just find wigs fun and my real hair sucks!! Lol
