Hi, it’s just been 3 weeks since I had a rhinoplasty (underwent it in a clinic in Toronto) I’m on my recovery stage, doing better now. I’m following all the post-op instructions that my surgeon Dr. Ronald Levine told me. This is the first time I undergo cosmetic surgery, everything was okay from start to finish but could someone please tell me when can I go back to my normal life routine? You know, makeup was something which I could never avoid..but now I am not sure whether I can use it or not. I’ll be meeting my surgeon soon, but before that I’d like to hear from someone who had the same procedure, their experience and all. Also please let me know when I can get back to my normal makeup and skin care routine?

Hello, I had rhinoplasty and I don't remember any instructions to not use make-up. In fact I remember my Doctor saying I could use make-up to cover any under eye bruising. It's important to follow your doctor's instructions when recovering from any procedure, particularly cosmetic as it can influence your long term result. Your doctor makes a ton of money. If you have a question don't wait, call him tomorrow.

Also, after the first few weeks everything was pretty normal. You just have to avoid not risking banging your nose, and there may be some exercise restrictions.
