I vote for all elections - federal, provincial and municipal.

IMO, it is just pathetic how many people in Canada do not vote.

I live in a community of 400,000 give or take.

In our last municipal election, only 35,000 people voted.

Pretty sad that the mayor won with 12,000+ votes out of 400,000.

I am registered and I do vote. I've been registered for 24 years and have never missed an election even though I do hate politics.

I am registered and I vote. Our country is in trouoble people--we need to let ourselves be heard. We have beautiful young men losing their lives every day for this privilege--if you are not registered go register. If you know people that cannot get to the polls like the elderly, shup-ins--get them an abesntee ballot at the court house and let them vote. This is so super important---do something about it. Gret post Kells.

I am registered, and I vote. It is so important to have our say in who is running our cities, states, and our country.

Yes and yes. I hate politics and think most politicians are power-hungry crooks. All the more reason to keep an eye on them and have your say. Politics is boring and unglamourous but it affects everything in your life, from hospital waiting times to how much tax you pay on your lipstick. So yes I hate it but I feel its necessary to register and vote.

I'm registered and I vote! Peole that don't vote should not complain about the state of the union.

Obviously the same for me

You get automically put on the electoral role when you turn 17, so you're all set to go to vote when you're 18.

In Slovenia anyone who is over 18 y/o can vote, but there is no fine if you don't. I vote everytime!
