Brush your teeth with baking soda.

Pour a little peroxide in your ears at the first signs of a cold.

Exfoliate feet, knees, hands and elbows for a happier life! LOL

Regular pedicures for pretty feet, even in the winter when few people will see them!

A spritz of your fave perfume at bedtime, for "sweet dreams!"

Rinsing your hair in beer makes it softer. Of course, you have to wash it again when you're done, or else you'll get that stale beer smell, but it works. My mom does it.

You can also use Bag Balm for your hands, feet, elbows, etc. instead of vaseline or olive oil. Technically, it was created for farmers to use on cow's udders, but it's really popular for non-farmers to use too. It comes in a green tin with a cow on it. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> My dad use to put it on his hands and sleep with socks on because his hands got really chapped in the winter.

Um why would you do that? Salacyic acid is not that expensive (tons of stuff at the drugstore) and loads better for your skin. Alcohol is a major skin irritant.

That isn't a very good idea, especially for sensitive skin

honey on your face for 20 minutes then rinsing gently off your dry scabs/flaky skin from acne that seem to not be ready yet to scratch off....

also, baking soda to exfoliate your face and hydrogen peroxide on your face with a cotton ball to bring oxygen to your acne and kill the germs. you can see the bubbles...it's fun. though you might not wanna use this too often on your face.

The only one I can think of is using olive oil as a night moisturizer. I use Don Luigi extra-virgin olive oil, which is TO DIE FOR.

Lotion and sugar for an exfoliating scrub is awesome. It leaves your skin so smooth!

Lemon-Sugar Scrub: Juice from half a lemon and a quarter cup of sugar. Take into shower and scrub away. Great for exfoliation and brightening.

Banana-Honey Mask: Put some banana in a bowl and mash with fork into a paste. Add a bit of honey and mash some more. Apply to face and wherever and leave for 10 minutes or longer. Wash off. Great for less wrinkles.

I forgot...

Chamomile-ACV Hair Rinse: Brew a large cup of chamomile tea. Add a splash of ACV. After shampoo and before conditioner, rinse hair with it. Great to clarify, add shine, and remove buildup.
