I think it depends on your skin. A lot of my 20s I slept in my mu, which was usually e/l, mascara and lipstick ... nothing happened.

I used to be horrible about doing this, and I have good skin... I've quit though because I don't want it to bite me in the rear later in life!

Hi,

I don't sleep with it on because I found that it would take me longer to remove it the next morning.

My experience has always been, without fail, that if I don't go through my 'regimen' of cleansing, toning, treating, and moisturizing before bed, I WILL break out the next day. Leaving the makeup on clogs my pores up, so cleaning it all off is a must for me.

Nothing really happens to me, but i think something would happen if you left your makeup on over night for like a week.

I do the same thing unfortunately.

However, i never break out so it doesn't really bother me (but it can make a nasty mess on your pillow!)

wow thanks for all your comments!

lol I agree with both sides :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

However I dont want to risk aging fast! so Im going to get into the habit of looking after my skin properly...

I guess I am lucky to be blessed with good skin.... seriously every comments about it. The other day a guy said to me I have really good skin, and that it is rare to see a girl with good skin or something lol..... he also asked me how long it takes me to wear makeup.... and asked if I wear foundation.... I was a bit offended... but then I took it as a compliment... lol

I noticed that when I do wash my face alot of people wud tell me I look really pale... lol!!!!!!!!!

ahyee, i wouldn't advise you to do as much stuff as some of the ppl here since you have such good skin. It will mess with the natural oil balance of your skin. A good cleanse or even just a makeup removing towellette (Mac makes some, so does l'occitane, even baby wipes are cool they work for me!) should be all. Anyhting else is just overdoing it since you don't really need it!

If i sleep in my make up, my skin will go so crap i break out bad and it doesnt seem to calm down for nearly a month.

But did you know that sleeping with your make up on for one night will age you by 7days.

Yeah if I leave my make up on and fall asleep, I have a brand new red friend in 2 days or so. -_- /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I understand where you're coming from too. I sometimes leave my make up and head to bed, but when I'm in my bed, I feel so guilty that I wake up and wash my face and go back to bed. Also, sleeping with your mascara can really mess up your eye lashes. =/ But it depends on how much you use, I guess.

If I don't wash off my makeup I'm unsure if I should moisturize anyway. I hate to think that I'm drying my face out by not washing off my makeup. But my eyes get super red if I don't wash off my makeup. Thankfully my skin does not.

1. You look SCARY in the morning, with all the crusty mascara, crinkled eyeshadow, smeared powder and runny eyeliner. FUGLY doesn't even come close - WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?!

2. Zit City. Your pores get all clogged and break-outy if you leave on foundation-blusher-powder overnight.

I've gotten better about removing make-up before I go to bed but when I don't, I pay the next day. I usually get tiny whiteheads on my chin and my eyes are red and dry. To avoid future break-outs, I try and wash make-up off always.

I learned the hard way, especially with MAC Fluidline. I paid the price for not washing off my makeup, my Fluidline got in my eye and caused a horrendous allergic reaction during the night. Never again will I go to bed without washing off my makeup. I almost went to bed again the other night with Fluidline on and went OOPS! Forced myself to get up out of bed and grab a baby wipe.
