lol Im sooo bad....

and lazy when it comes to skin care...

ok (ashamed of myself) Im going to confess....

sometimes Im so lazy I dont wash my face and just sleep with my makeup on. Then I wash it all over in the morning and reapply it on...

I know this is bad for ur skin, cos the makeup acts as a medium for your skin bacteria to grow on...

but how much damage have I done? And is it really that damaging??

I dont get spots or anythng....

and everyone comments on how clear my skin is... and what routine I use lol...

I do use some makeup that have added moisturiser on to protect ur skin.... ie some eyeshadows from body shop, they use marula oil and vit E.

very bad things happen to your skin i guess. maybe u're blessed w/good skin.

It's generally not a good idea, but it depends on the kind of skin you have. Some people's pores will get clogged and they'll break out, others will suffer no ill effects. Of course it's best to wash off your makeup and do a decent nighttime skincare regimen, but nobody's perfect =).

lol I feel so guilty and embarrassed!!

I love this site, its teaching me so much about personal care...

:-D

If I don't wash my face at night, I'm bound to see a new pimple in the morning. Your skin should be able to breath and renew itself at night. Makeup/dirt from the day won't allow your skin to do such

NOTHING will happen if you don't wash your face at night.

I have heard this argument for years.

Why is it ok to wear make up for 16 hours a day but not 24 hours a day?

I am still waiting for an answer.

Do you know why know one knows the answer, it's because it is ok.

I am 42 and do not wash my face before I go to bed.

This does not cause break outs and my skin breaths just find.

Hope my answer helps.

Ive heard that as long as you remove it the next morning its ok cause your skin rejuvenates when you sleep...so if you wash off all the dead skin cells and make up in the morning and apply some good moisturizer it should be alright...i personally dont like sleepong with it though ...

well, let me just tell you what happens to me when I don't wash my face at night. I wake up and my skin has major oily problems, I could probably cook a bunch of sunny side up eggs with the amount I have on my face (EWW sorry lol) I also notice, I have a few more pimples than usual and my face feels, I don't know weird. When I wash my face after a night like that, and put the rest of my makeup on, my skin feels tired and stretchy kind of ruddy. So I try my best after every night of MU wearing, to wash my face.

What will happen?

god will not be pleased. =)

nah..i dunno...do what works. I never wash anything off cuz i read that if your fingers touch your face it will clog your pores and bacteria can get in..so i heed the advice and never touch my face...EVER !

It depends on hormones for me. Some days I'll be fine and others I'll have some zits to greet me in the morning.

Sleeping with make-up :tocktock: I can't imagine it. But I know one women, she is 38, who wes sleeping with make-up when we were in travel and lived in one room with boys :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Honestly, there is no one answer to this question. If your skin is sensitive and acne prone like mine, it will look like hell the next morning.

If it is resistant and has thick barrier layer, nothing (or not much) will happen except a little mess on your pillow cases.

Sounds like you are very lucky and blessed with resistant skin.

well makeup is one cause of wrinkles so....

your lucky you don't break out from it though! i guess you were blessed with good skin!
