I just bought Vidal Sassoon's Ion Select hairdryer (I couldn't find the Ionizer one that Janelle recommended), and it has three settings to choose the level of ions. The instructions recommend using the low setting for fine hair and the high setting for coarse hair. However, most hair care articles I've read assume that if you have fine hair, it's also thin, limp, and straight. My hair is fine, but it's also thick, wavy, and poofy/frizzy, so I try to blowdry it straight. Should I still use the low ion setting, or try something else? Or does it even matter that much? Thanks!
