Retin A can be drying and irrating. The cream version is less drying than the gel.
Until your skin gets use to Retin A, apply every other day (or every 3 days). Wash face and wait at least 15 minutes before applying only a pea size amount to entire face.
Talk to Pharmacist to determine which facial cream can be used after applying Retin A. Some can cancel the effectiveness of Retin A.
I apply Stieva Vitamin A acid gel - Canadian version of Retin A -- under my eyes, but I've been doing this for at least 18 years.
