So I have just recently started using the Alpha Hydrox 10% Glycolic Acid oil free leave on treatment. I had previously been using the Burt's Bees Radiance Serum under my moisturizer. I LOVE both of them, but I wasn't sure if applying my serum over the glycolic treatment would be a bad idea? Right now I am just applying moisturizer over the treatment after it has had a few minutes to sink in. The only thing that concerned me was if any of the ingredients in the serum would react negatively with the glycolic acid? Here are the ingredients for the glycolic acid treatment
-Water, Glycolic Acid, Ammonium Hydroxide, Sodium Lactate, Green Tea Extract, Carrageenan (Red Seaweed) (Sea Kelp Extract), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, PVM/MA Decadene Crosspolymer
I don't like that fact that it has parabens, but I haven't seemed to have a problem with it, and it is the only thing in my skincare/makeup that has them.
Here are the ingredients for the Radiance Serum
-Water, Glycerin, Alcohol Denat., Royal Jelly, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Glucose, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Chloride, Glucose Oxidase, Lactoperoxidase, Phenoxyethanol, Caramel
Thanks guys!
