Thin or Thick???

Mine are in between. they are thicker at the start and thinner at the end. They used to be the same width the whole way along, which didn't look very good, but tapering the end made a huge difference.

I've never liked the look of thin brows, it just looks too unnatural for me ....

I have fairly thick brows naturally, and I pluck all the stray hairs and shape the arch a little bit so they look neat and well-kept, but I still leave them thick enough to look more natural and not like I over-plucked them! (Plus, I am a weanie and it hurts to pluck too many hairs at once! lol)

My eyebrows were normal when I was younger - not too thin, not too bushy. Then I went pluck-crazy and they were super-thin little lines. I even look at pictures of myself from this past summer and can't believe how thin they were. Now I just tweeze that stragglers and actually use brow powder to fill them in.

I love, love, love thicker eye brows especially since mine grow in on the thicker side. It's easier for me to keep them full and just pluck the strays. While we're on the subject, does anyone have brows that grow asymetrically? I have one that has a natural high arch and the other one is straight across.

oh my gosh ya'll - the threading LOL - I had this done once and I really thought I was going to whack the poor girl....not only did she do my brows she did my whole forehead so when I figured this out I made her stop however, when I applied my makeup the next time I looked so funny b/c my forehead was all smooth and the rest of me wasn't LOL - this was back when I wore liquid foundation and powder though - gasp!! I did find that the threading didn't irritate my skin - I just can't stand the feeling - I'm shuddering at the thought right now!!

Asian girls can pull off thinner eyebrows, or at least the girls I've noticed. I guess that's an exception.

Looking back at pictures from when I was younger, before I started plucking my eyebrows, they were pretty thick but not in the bushy sense. When I was 15 or so I got sick of it and went at them with the tweezers. I made them really really thin. I didn't realize how thin they actually were until I started trying to grow them out a bit recently.

I don't think the really thin look suits my face, and I find my eyes look a lot better with thicker and more natural brows. I've let the part closest to the bridge of my nose grow in a bit more and I let the outer edges grow down so they curve over and around my eyes now, instead of stopping right at the edge of my eye. I dunno if that makes sense... but yeah. I'm really glad I let mine grow out a bit!

I have naturally thin ones, but with thick hair so they aren't sparse. It's a love hate relationship, because i'd love to change of the shape of it.. but then again--am grateful that I don't have to do anything to them (pluck wax etc)

I have fairly thick brows as you can see from my avatar. But I've always been fortunate to have a natural shape to my brows. I just pluck off the excess for the most part. Sometimes I go a little thinner, but not too much. To me, if its too thin, it tends to make people look surprised or panicky. But thats just my opinion.

On myself I like medium. Not 1940's thin or penciled in-but kind of thin. I do think some people look good with thick eyebrows though.

I've never plucked my eyebrows. One because in Islam it is a sin for an unmarried women to pluck/shave/trim their eyebrows/legs (if they're married and their husband ask them to do so, then it's fine). You can, however, pluck your eyebrows IF and only IF your eyebrows are so bushy it makes the people around you stay away from you because they are scared to death. Second, because I'm too lazy. Hahah.

My eyebrows are pretty thin because ever since I severely overtweezed them the only hair that grows back are stray hairs away from my brows. I looked awful with thick eyebrows even though it looks great on a lot of people.

My eyebrows are naturally thick . I thin them out a bit otherwise they're shapeless like 2 black rectangles . They're hard work and one is higher than the other. I wish I had naturally thin brows that I didnt have to pluck.

My brows are naturally pretty thin. Not pencil thin, and not surprised look thin. I wish they were a tad thicker, but for some girls that have shaped, bushy eyebrows, i dont really like them. I guess it depends on the person, but i prefer thinner to thicker (not by much tho).

Mine are quite thick, but apparently "they suit (me), since (I) have pretty intense features". (quote from a friend.)

I can't quite imagine myself without rather thick, strong, full "man"-brows, although I keep them tidy (any stray hairs beyond their natural shape are blasted immediately) and have already managed to tweeze my old unibrow out of existence through obsessive - compulsive plucking :rotfl:

I see some older people, and even young women my own age, who have managed to pluck their natural brows out of existence, instead having to draw on a cartoony line and... well... "scary" isn't the word! :eusa_wall:

I still use eyebrow colour on my brows (black eyeshadow), since they have bits round the inside which are quite "bare" - looking compared to the rest, so I just even them out. However, they still look pretty dramatic on their own (my avatar shows me without brow colour, although with eyeshadow, liner and lipstick.)

I use to pluck my brows really thin.. its took nearly a year to get them to a natural thick shape.. I like them to have shape not thin pencil lines.

Thicker works better for me because of my face shape, and they have a decent natural shape already. I just tweeze the perimeter so the shape is cleaner and more defined, with maybe a slight big more arch.

when i was young i had a uni-brow. i started tweezing in my early 30s. now i love the shape of my brows naturally, the only thing is they're turning white! lmao~

i love to use pencil and diva them out! i'm a fan of a more dramatic brow. i even use mac yogurt underneath to make the line super tight!

My brows are probably in-between. More on the thick side, but I have thinned them out a bit. I have one spot on my right eyebrow, about 3/4 of the way down that needs to grow in. I love my left eyebrow and just clean the strays around it.
