Hey everyone!  I have been struggling with a problem lately and I wanted to know if anyone could help me.  In Aug. 2013, I was pregnant.  As you may or may not know, pregnancies change your body sometimes.  And the change it made in me was that I became allergic to sulfates.  The doctor told me that at the end of my pregnancy the allergy may or may not disappear.  Well in November, I, unfortunately had a miscarriage but the allergy did not stop.  In addition to my allergy I have very oily skin.  Yes, drinking water regularly and eating healthy help out a lot until I put on a moisturizer and my face turns into an oily mess.  The face washes I used to use and loved all had sulfates in them, including Cetaphil.  I have used black soap and this face wash that has tea tree oil in it but tea tree oil just doesn't agree with my skin either.

So my question(s) is/are what are some good, not too expensive, face washes, exfoliaters, and oil-free face moisturizers that I can try?  I am open to DIY products as I do make some products for my hair.  I am sort of lost as far as shampoos go too if anyone feels like some extra-credit point, LOL! But that is another story in itself perhaps ^^;

Sorry to hear you are enduring this problem. I would recommend.

Boscia's Detoxifying Face Cleanser (Face Wash)

Clinique's Turnaround Instant Facial (Exfoliator/Scrub)

Clinique's Clarifying Lotion (Toner)

Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel (Moisturizer)

DIY Oil Free Face Mask - 4 Blueberries, 1/2 Cup of Oats, 1/2 Cup of Almonds, and Lemon Juice. Blend and apply to your face for 15 minutes then rinse.

DIY Dry Shampoo - Lemon Oil, Rice Flour, Corn Starch, and Arrowroot Powder. Apply to hair.

I love to exfoliate with Organic Coconut Oil and Coffee Grounds twice a week, especially in the Spring and Summer months when my skin is the oiliest.
