Has anyone tried Suki skincare products?

I've tried the exfoliating foaming cleanser and love it but am not sure sinking $100 into the products to try out the line they recommend for my skin. That's not even with all of the extras they also "recommend." Anyway, just looking for people's thoughts on the brand and their products. I am considering ordering some of the samples (they say 2-5 uses but I kinda wonder if a foil packet can provide that much).

I've tried one of their hydrating cleansers, and I didn't like it much.  Felt like a waxy film was left once washed off and it was giving me breakouts.  I do like the exfoliating foam cleanser though.  There are a couple sets of skin care products by Suki on Birch Box website for 55-65$ range I believe, if you wanted a cheaper option. (I think they still sell them currently)

Oh, I tried a foil pack of body butter from Suki as well, didn't like that either, it was lavender scent.

ooh, those are perfect! I would never have thought of looking there and they are exclusive to BB. The one I want is very reasonably priced at $40. I know the sizes are pretty small but I should be able to get a pretty good idea of whether their skincare line is for me or not. Thank you so much :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

The cleanser I tried was in the same line of size as those kits on Birchbox, and it lasted me a whole month.  I didn't need that much to get a good clean out of it.. it just wasn't right for me/my skin.  I have weird skin though.. picky and stubborn. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I used the Suki Scrub and the Toner. It broke me out really badly. I used the scrub 3x in one week and I used the toner after my daily cleanser. By the end of the week I had a bunch of painful white heads around my mouth, a few larger pimples on my cheeks, then around my chin I had raised bumps that did not have a head. It was a weird bumpy, painful texture. Where there WERENT bumps (zits or not) there were also dry flaky patches. It was a really, really bad reaction. I returned the items right away to BeautySage and it took about 3-4 weeks to rehab my skin into normalish...

hmm, apparently this is common and Suki claims it is necessary. This kinda concerns me...

From their site,

I JUST STARTED USING SUKI® & NOW I AM BREAKING OUT. IS THIS NORMAL?

yes. it is perfectly normal to go through a temporary detox, transitional period when switching over to a 100% synthetic-free skincare. this necessary detoxification period will deeply cleanse your skin & eliminate toxins from synthetic filled medications or other skincare regimens. this period is important because it will bring milia to the surface & eliminate them from the skin instead of creating long term bumps that will never go away. the transitional period can last a month or longer & varies depending on how long you were on a synthetic regimen.

Necessary or not, the little white heads hurt a lot and those bumps without any head were really, really ugly. I felt awful. There was no way I would've stuck it out for "a month or longer"! My sanity and confidence was definitely worth more than the $64 I spent on the toner and scrub. Those who love it and who didn't have awful reactions are lucky!
