I'm wondering if soeone cold help me find a prodcut that curls hair well and will keep it that way. I currently wear my hair in braids and i don't chemically straighten it so it is very natural. I want somethig that will give me that curly look without being overly kinky. Can anybody suggest something really good that might help? Thanks

Janelle suggested Allegio Crazy Curl Balm (I believe that's the company name) to me before. I've been using Marc Anthony Curl Booster Defining Lotion and Curling Spray, and they've worked well for me so far.

i honestly have tried some stuff, and i still have yet to find it. just dont use the KMS Curly Hair line. it didnt leave my hair that nice curly, it makes your hair really sticky and just dirty feeling.

L'oreals studio line is pretty good- they have a curling gel and one called springing curls

which is a mousse

I just bought SAMY Instant recurl, and Samy Curl constructor and it worked great on me. I do have naturally curly hair, but it definelty defined my curl alot more.

i use several products to make my hair curly and soft.

1. i rinse hair in the shower and condition (pantene pro v for women of color)

2. leave in tiny amount of conditioner to help control frizz

3. because my hair i very dry i use a hair oil (dark & natural honey hairdress)

4. to keep my hair from drying out during the day i use a moisturizer (dark & natural chamomile moisturizer)

5. i use a silicone gel to keep the curls defined after my hair dries (john frieda silicone gel)

6. because the silicone can make hair hard i use john frieda secret weapon to make hair soft and touchable.

7. i use ampro protein gel on my edges to control frizz - just a little on the temples works great

out the door! i let my hair dry naturally, but you can defuse if you want!

check out my profile pic for the end result. i love my hair!
