hey girls. i need some advice on a good face cleanser from the d/s. i usually don't buy drugstore skincare products, but money is tight right now. honestly, i'm clueless. this can be just a face cleanser or a system of products..i have oily/acne-prone skin. has anybody tried:

1. Almay's skincare line

2. Acne-Free (Proactiv's knock-offs)

Thanks girls. i'm really openn to anything.

i haven't tried the two that you mentioned, but i love aveeno clear complexion foaming cleanser. put my acne in check in the first 3 days i used it. really good d/s product for acne prone skin.

Mary Kay's Timewise 3 in 1 cleanser in

Oily to normal

or

Dry to normal

MK has alwyas been good to my face Info about that in my notepad.

Olive oil! I really like it. Make sure you use it on a damp cotton pad though.

And i've heard nothing but bad things about acne free

I have combination acne prone skin and my derm suggested Cetaphil and it works great. Doesn't dry my skin out or leave it oily. Plus it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.

kam, i use cetaphil regular, but i know that they have one for oily skin. you might want to try that. the one that i use costs abt 10

bucks or 16oz. good deal , i think

ok, i'm going to try cetaphil. nice that they have one for oily skin-i always thought they only had one.

i use the oily one. So far it's mademy skin less oily and very soft, but hasn't gotten rid of my impurities (though i'm told my face is suppose to breakout for two weeks before it gets better)

Tell us how it works out for you.

I use the regular Neutrogena facial cleanser liquid and it works wonderfully. Leaves my face very fresh feeling and clean. Its great for sensative skin too, no fragrance or anything. For evenings (to remove makeup) I use either Neutrogena Pure Glow or Deep Clean cleansing pads.

I didn't like the way my face felt after using cetaphil..and the smell is not great..but Neutrogena for sensitive skin ..I really like..

i also didn't like cetaphil my face felt as if there is a film left behind and don't like the smell too.

For the olive oil cleansing. Put olive oil on your face using a cotton swab. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. Wipe it off using a warm damp washcloth. It actually works. It's also great for removing makeup.

neutrogena extra gentle cleanser :]

cetaphil never worked for me, that's because

i don't agree with the sodium lauryl sulfate in

it. neutrogena is just like it tho!

as for the acne-free product, i used pro-

active in the past & i think it is way too

harsh! you need a gentle cleanser, not

a cleanser with treatment in it! keep the

treatments to the lotions and such. GL!

Neutrogena is brilliant brand for oily skin I don't have a lot of there stuff but I have the face wash and its great
