My son has had a buzz cutt for years. He is 10 now and want to let it grow out. So as it is growing now, it is sticking up weird at the crown etc. What can I get to hold it down? He hates gel and says it make is look dirty and feel dirty.

Try a light pomade...he wont be able to feel it in the hair at all as pomades are pliable.

the only thing i can think of is just brushing it after he showers that should help a little. you could try some gel but i know my brother when he was younger he hated anything his hair (it wasnt till he was trying to get girls that he cared) because he said it made it so he had to shower more, and it made his hair look gressy
