hey Jennifer,

I had this problem about 2 months ago.. breaking out, out of nowhere.

stress doesn't help, but this is what i did and it's getting better.

go get a facial. (that really started the process) then go to the drugstore and pick up OMEGA 3-6-9. Apparently OMEGA 3's are very good in cleaning out the impurities in your blood. It's been about a month and I haven't had one pimple back. hang in there.. i know it's frustrating especially if you are like me and never gets acne..

hope this helps.

A trick i learnt for spots which seems to really help clear up my pms related spots is to put eye drops on them. It helps to reduce the redness and dry up the spots quickly.

It won't help stop new spots appearing but it should reduce the 'staying' power when spots do appear.

Other than that, the only suggestions i can make are to be gentle with your skin, make sure your hands are clean when you touch your face and as difficult as it can be when you have spots, remember your stunning x

I know exactly how you feel, but honestly, your skin doesn't look bad! The pimples are very small, infact I'd gladly swap, mine are huge and really really red =(

I got a treatment from my doctor a while ago, and it worked better than anything else I've tried, so maybe a visit to your GP would help?

Oh Jennifer I feel sorry for you!!I have experienced the same thing for a while!I think it`s stress related and some of it hormonal (got it after I had my daughter)

Well I tried birthcontrol pills some months ago, but after three months without a difference on my skin, only gaining weight and moodswings I stopped!

A dermatologist recommended Dermalogica gentle cleansing gel, anti bac wash, Active moisture(daycream) and a white clay mask, my skin has improved, but my bank account is empty (lol)

Well, I guess I have to stress down. Not easy with a three year old.

I got the same ten years ago when I was a waitress and got the steam from the hot food in my face, and it was a lot of stress there too.

Hope you`ll find something that will help you!!

Good luck!!

Oh my goodness hon. Yep I hear ya. I had the same thing happen last summer and it went on for about 6 months, but mine was cystic. I had to go to the derm, cuz nothing else was working. And I've been clear ever since, except about a week ago, because of stress and the weather.

When the weather gets hot and humid it melts me or my skin becomes more hyper oily and I break out a bit more. Had to go back on my oral antibiotic, cuz I just couldn't stand zits and was getting used to having none (or atleast none that were a big deal).

***How often to you wash your pillow sheets and/or bed sheets? Should be atleast once a week if you are breaking out. Same with sponges, brushes clothing anything that comes in contact with your skin, that can be washed, should be washed. I know someone else mentioned other things, so I thought I'd add these. I will break out if I forget to wash my bedding or pillow cases and/or brushes or sponges.

Maybe you could try using clindimycin gel, it's a topical antibiotic and antibacterial. You can also use this with your differin. Usually the doc will say differin at night, and clindimycin in the morning (if using both). As for the BP and salicylic acid, I'd maybe deleted those 2 items or scaled those down to a spot treatment if you go on clindimycin.

Just my 2 cents. Hope things get better, hang in there.

thank you all so, so much for your replies!

tesia, i hope your skin clears up!

kiska, seriously? beer? wow, i never knew that!

andi, fortunately, my zits usualy don't leave marks. i don't think i have any scars at all actually. i went to the derm a year ago and it wasn't much help, but my acne also wasn't bad at all. i'd go now, but i don't have insurance and i'm flat-out broke, so it's not an option right now - and neither is the pill. i'm not allowed to go on it, considering i'm an adult, but mom's house, mom's rules
